Teatro in famiglia. La provincia di Napoli non dorme. Anzi è più che attiva e coinvolge non solo i giovanissimi, ma anche gli adulti. Così Arzano lancia la seconda edizione della rassegna che si svolgerà al Teatro Eduardo De Filippo (diretto da Roberta Stravino) dal 15 ottobre 2023 al 17 marzo 2024, alle 18. Attraverso 11 spettacoli di prosa che narrano storie avvincenti ed entusiasmanti e spettacoli musicali interattivi. Sono a cura di Orazio De Rosa de La Baracca dei Buffoni e Eugenio Ottieri di Progetto Sonora.
Gli spettacoli, che andranno in scena sempre alle ore 18, prevedono un abbonamento di 40 euro dedicato al bambino o al familiare per tutti gli appuntamenti e per il singolo spettacolo 5 euro per gli adulti e di 8 euro per i più piccoli. È possibile effettuare l’acquisto sia online che presso il botteghino del teatro.
Una rassegna teatrale concepita per far condividere e godere del teatro all’intero nucleo famigliare. Il teatro è un luogo di condivisione e di scoperta, un percorso di crescita socio-culturale da intraprendere con i propri cari divertendosi.
Si comincia con lo spettacolo comico “Pulcinella e il mistero del castello” di Teatro Eidos, scritto e diretto da Virgilio De Matteo, che è anche in scena con Mimmo Soricelli, Vincenzo De Matteo, Raffaella Mirra. Pulcinella e il Capitano Villars, arrivando per caso in un castello disabitato, si trovano a combattere con dei fasulli spiriti, o meglio ladruncoli in cerca di bottino (foto).
Domenica 22 ottobre è la volta di Magazzini di fine millennio con “Giro giro tondo accetta tutto il mondo”, scritto e diretto da Massimiliano Foà, con Simone Di Meglio, Lorenzo Ferrara, Sara Marzullo. Tre viaggiatori senza tempo si rincontrano ogni volta che ci sono bambini pronti ad ascoltare, per raccontarsi quello che hanno conosciuto. Storia dopo storia scopriamo che il rispetto, l’accoglienza dell’altro, l’armonia si costruiscono a partire dall’uso gentile delle parole.
Per festeggiare Halloween, martedì 31 ottobre la compagnia toscana Terzo studio porta in scena “Transylvania circus”, uno spettacolo di marionette a tema circense. Uomini drago che sputano fuoco, fantasmi acrobati, un malinconico licantropo capace di camminare in equilibrio sulla luna e poi lei, la stella dello spettacolo, l’affascinante donna vampiro, che si esibirà nell’arte del trasformismo.
Domenica 12 novembre il Teatro Bertolt Brecht presenta “Il mago di Oz”, una fiaba messa in scena da pupazzi interpretati da Maurizio Stammati e Chiara Di Macco, che curano rispettivamente regia e adattamento.
Domenica 19 novembre la Mansarda dell’Orco è in scena con “Gedeone cuor di fifone”, un racconto scritto da Roberta Sandias, scritto da Maurizio Azzurro e con Antonio Elia e Luigi Savinelli. Due fratelli, Gedeone e Pancrazio, sbarcano il lunario girando di fiera in fiera con il loro carretto da rigattiere. Ma la loro quotidianità è limitata dalle paure di Gedeone, un vero fifone che arriva a temere perfino la propria ombra. Pancrazio, esasperato dall’atteggiamento del fratello, escogita un piano per aiutarlo a superare le proprie paure.
Si prosegue domenica 26 novembre con la compagnia umbra in “Robin Hood nel Castello di Nottingham”, spettacolo con attori, pupazzi e sagome scritto e diretto da Zenone Benedetto, che è anche in scena con Tiziano Feola. Robin Hood e la sua allegra compagnia sono immersi nel verde fantastico della foresta di Sherwood.
Domenica 3 dicembre è dedicata interamente alla musica con “Concerto in palcoscenico” di Progetto Sonora che prevedono la partecipazione attiva dei bambini/ragazzi e dei loro accompagnatori. Insieme sul palcoscenico, con l’aiuto degli esperti, i piccoli partecipanti daranno vita ad un vero e proprio concerto e potranno così avvicinarsi alla musica da protagonisti e condividere questa esperienza con i propri familiari.
Domenica 14 gennaio la Baracca dei Buffoni e Morks divertirà il pubblico con “Il Circoletto, uno spettacolo laboratorio di circo teatro, scritto e diretto da Orazio De Rosa. Gli spettatori, oltre ad assistere alla performance, useranno attrezzi tipici dello spettacolo di circo, come palline, clave, trampoli.
Domenica 4 febbraio la Mansarda dell’Orco torna in scena con “Pulcinella Frizzi Lazzi” di Roberta Sandias, diretto da Maurizio Azzurro, con Peppe Romano, Manuel Di Martino, Giorgia Maria d’Isa, Pasquale D’Orso e Camilla Leone. La pièce riprende scene esilaranti da alcune tra le commedie più popolari di grandi autori.
Domenica 4 marzo la compagnia sarda Teatro del Sottosuolo arriva sul palco del Teatro Eduardo De Filippo con “I nipoti di Bernardone” di e con Pasquale Imperiale e Vincenzo De Rosa. Il pubblico sarà sorpreso ed entusiasta dai giochi acrobatici dei due clown e giocolieri.
“Rodari smart” chiude la rassegna domenica 17 marzo. Lo spettacolo di Giovanna Facciolo vede in scena Marta Vedrucio e Dario Mennella, che cura anche la musica dal vivo. Il progetto è un piccolo tuffo nel mondo di Gianni Rodari, un mondo fatto di acuta leggerezza, visionarietà, dissacrazione dei luoghi comuni, tensione morale e civile.

Arzano/ Family theater between plays and music: when jugglers come onto the stage
Family theater. The province of Naples is not sleeping. On the contrary, it is more than active and involves not only the very young, but also adults. So Arzano is launching the second edition of the festival, which will take place at the Eduardo De Filippo Theater (directed by Roberta Stravino) from October 15th, 2023, to March 17th, 2024, at 6 p.m. Through 11 prose shows that tell compelling and exciting stories and interactive musical performances. They are curated by Orazio De Rosa of La Baracca dei Buffoni and Eugenio Ottieri of Progetto Sonora.
The shows, which will always be staged at 6 p.m., include a 40-euro season ticket dedicated to the child or family member for all appointments and for the single show 5 euros for adults and 8 euros for the little ones. You can purchase either online or at the theater box office.
A theater season designed for the entire family so that each member can share and enjoy the theater. Theater is a place of condivision and discovery, a path of socio-cultural growth to be undertaken with loved ones while having fun.

Three timeless travelers meet again whenever there are children ready to listen, to tell each other what they have known. In story after story we discover that respect, acceptance of the other, and harmony are built from the gentle use of words.
To celebrate Halloween, on Tuesday, October 31st, the Tuscan company Terzo studio brings to the stage “Transylvania circus,” a circus-themed puppet show. Fire-breathing dragon men, acrobatic ghosts, a melancholy werewolf capable of walking in balance on the moon and then she, the star of the show, the charming vampire woman, who will perform the art of transformism.
On Sunday, November 12th, Bertolt Brecht Theater presents “The Wizard of Oz,” a fairy tale enacted by puppets played by Maurizio Stammati and Chiara Di Macco, who direct and adapt, respectively.
On Sunday, November 19th, the Ogre’s Mansard is on stage with “Gideon Wimpy Heart,” a tale written by Roberta Sandias, written by Maurizio Azzurro and starring Antonio Elia and Luigi Savinelli. Two brothers, Gedeone and Pancrazio, make ends meet by going from fair to fair with their junk cart. But their daily routine is limited by the fears of Gedeone, a real wimp who comes to fear even his own shadow. Pancrazio, exasperated by his brother’s attitude, conceives a plan to help him overcome his own fears.
It continues on Sunday, November 26th, with the Umbrian company in “Robin Hood in Nottingham Castle,” a show with actors, puppets and silhouettes written and directed by Zeno Benedetto, who is also on stage with Tiziano Feola. Robin Hood and his merry company are immersed in the fantastic greenery of Sherwood Forest.
Sunday, December 3rd is dedicated entirely to music with Progetto Sonora’s “Concert on Stage,” which involve the active participation of children/youth and their caregivers. Together on stage, with the help of experts, the young participants will give life to a real concert and thus be able to approach music as protagonists and share this experience with their families.
On Sunday, January 14th, the Shack of Buffoons and Morks will entertain the audience with “Il Circoletto, a circus theater workshop show, written and directed by Orazio De Rosa. Spectators, in addition to watching the performance, will use typical circus show tools, such as balls, clubs and stilts.
On Sunday, February 4th, the Mansarda dell’Orco returns to the stage with “Pulcinella Frizzi Lazzi” by Roberta Sandias, directed by Maurizio Azzurro, with Peppe Romano, Manuel Di Martino, Giorgia Maria d’Isa, Pasquale D’Orso and Camilla Leone. The play takes hilarious scenes from some of the most popular comedies by great authors.
On Sunday, March 4th, the Sardinian company Teatro del Sottosuolo comes to the stage of the Eduardo De Filippo Theater with “I nipoti di Bernardone” by and starring Pasquale Imperiale and Vincenzo De Rosa. The audience will be surprised and thrilled by the acrobatic games of the two clowns and jugglers.
“Rodari smart” closes the show on Sunday, March 17th. Giovanna Facciolo’s show involves Marta Vedrucio and Dario Mennella, who also provides live music. The project is a small dive into the world of Gianni Rodari, a world made of acute lightness, visionariness, desecration of commonplaces, moral and civil tension.
