S’interroga sullo scorrere delle ore, l’edizione 2023 della rassegna Vinalia. Torna l’appuntamento estivo a Guardia Sanframondi, il suggestivo borgo medievale che domina la Valle telesina, con una panorama che si perde tra vaste distese di vigneti e oliveti.
Compie trent’anni la manifestazione che si svolgerà da venerdì 4 fino a giovedì 10 agosto e dedica l’iniziativa di quest’anno a un’affermazione del Nobel per la Fisica, Albert Einstein, “Il tempo è un’illusione”, partendo dalla teoria della relatività: in un ambiente con una forte gravità, il tempo rallenta. In un ambiente senza gravità, il tempo non esiste.
E un anniversario così importante per Vinalia arriva con trentennale un atteso riconoscimento: la Giunta della Regione Campania ha riconosciuto a alla rassegna il titolo di interesse regionale che spinge gli infaticabili organizzatori verso il futuro (responsabile del Comitato Vinalia è Titina Pigna).
Il progetto “educazione al vino” prevede l’immancabile incontro degli enoturisti con le cantine aderenti a Vinalia, lungo il ricchissimo percorso del gusto che si inerpica nelle stradine del centro antico fino alla postazione del Sannio Consorzio Tutela Vini, a Palazzo Marotta-Romano.
Il piazzale d’armi del castello medievale ospita lo show cooking con una programmazione enogastronomica di assoluta eccellenza che coinvolge giovani e blasonati Chef.
Significativi come sempre gli appuntamenti culturali, come quello curato dal critico letterario Giuseppe Colangelo, dedicato a Rocco Scotellaro da Tricarico. Il poeta contadino che, come diceva Carlo Levi, volle vivere in pochi anni tutta la lotta della sua gente per conquistarsi la libertà, l’autonomia, la cultura, la poesia.
E non poteva mancare Vinarte, anima creativa della kermesse che cresce di anno in anno e s’impone per bellezza e passione: giunta ormai alla XIII edizione, diretta da un Maestro dell’Accademia napoletana di Belle arti, darà origine a un viaggio nel tempo di pittori, scultori, fotografi, italiani e stranieri. Azzurra Immediato guiderà ancora una volta la sezione dedicata alla fotografia. E ci sarà spazio anche per il Circolo Fotografico Sannita diretto da Cosimo Petretti con la sua personale “L’oro di Guardia”. Un cartellone ricco, completata dal tocco della musica diffusa in tutto il borgo. Buon divertimento.
30 years of Vinalia/ Guardia Sanframondi examines the illusion of time among (food and wine) tastings, art and music
It interrogates the passing of the hours, the 2023 edition of the Vinalia festival. The summer event is back in Guardia Sanframondi, the charming medieval village that dominates the Telesina Valley, with a panorama that is lost among vast expanses of vineyards and olive groves.
Turning 30 years old, the event, which will run from Friday, Aug. 4, through Thursday, Aug. 10, dedicates this year’s initiative to a statement by Nobel Prize winner for Physics, Albert Einstein, “Time is an illusion,” starting with the theory of relativity: in an environment with strong gravity, time slows down. In an environment without gravity, time does not exist.
And such an important anniversary for Vinalia comes with 30 years a long-awaited recognition: the Campania Regional Council has granted the festival the title of regional interest, which pushes the tireless organizers into the future (head of the Vinalia Committee is Titina Pigna).
The “wine education” project includes the unfailing meeting of wine tourists with the member wineries of Vinalia, along the very rich taste itinerary that climbs the narrow streets of the old town to the Sannio Consorzio Tutela Vini station in Palazzo Marotta-Romano.
The parade ground of the medieval castle hosts the show cooking with a food and wine program of absolute excellence involving young and emblazoned chefs.
Significant as always are the cultural events, such as the one curated by literary critic Giuseppe Colangelo, dedicated to Rocco Scotellaro from Tricarico. The peasant poet who, as Carlo Levi said, wanted to live in a few years all the struggle of his people to win freedom, autonomy, culture and poetry.
Another moment, equally important, will be “The restoration of Alfonso Sellaroli’s time machines between genius loci and genius saeculi” to remember the two brilliant brothers Giuseppe and Valentino Romano.
And it could not miss Vinarte, the creative soul of the kermesse that grows year by year and stands out for its beauty and passion: now in its 13th edition, directed by a Master of the Neapolitan Academy of Fine Arts, it will give rise to a journey through time of painters, sculptors, photographers, Italian and foreign. Azzurra Immediato will once again lead the section dedicated to photography. And there will also be space for the Circolo Fotografico Sannita directed by Cosimo Petretti with its solo exhibition “L’oro di Guardia.” A rich program schedule, complemented by the touch of music spread throughout the village.
