Nuovo appuntamento per la rassegna “Incontriamoci in villa” diretta da Antonino Giammarino. Sabato 17 giugno alle 20:30 Villa Fiorentino – Fondazione Sorrento, concerto del collettivo KNB, acronimo di Ki Nameless Bi (che significa in lingua wolof-inglese “Eccoli, i senza nome“): il gruppo è formato da ragazze e ragazzi provenienti dal Gambia, Senegal e Napoli.
Genkah, GEA, Yusbwoi, Doppy Gee, Mozeh k, Sir X Samba, THIEUF e i producer Dott.Hope e Fox – questi i loro nomi – rappresentano l’integrazione artistica e culturale che solo Napoli poteva agevolare grazie la sua millenaria società inclusiva e mai divisiva.
Con un moderno sound fatto di diversi stili, nato da diverse etnie e provenienza contribuiscono a dare forma a un movimento musicale che cancella ogni confine.
Un melting pot di storie da raccontare, un’onda di flow hip hop e afrobeat con ritmiche e metriche incalzanti che sta permettendo loro di ritagliarsi una posizione rilevante nel variegato panorama musicale napoletano, sull’onda di un crescente movimento che sta aggregando la seconda e terza generazione di afro napoletani. Saturday, June 17 at 8:30 p.m. Villa Fiorentino – Sorrento Foundation, concert of the KNB collective, an acronym for Ki Nameless Bi (which means in Wolof-English language “Here they are, the nameless”): the group is made up of girls and boys from Gambia, Senegal and Naples.
Genkah, GEA, Yusbwoi, Doppy Gee, Mozeh k, Sir X Samba, THIEUF and producers Dott.Hope and Fox-these are their names-represent the artistic and cultural integration that only Naples could facilitate thanks to its millennial inclusive and never divisive society.
With a modern sound made of different styles, born of different ethnicities and backgrounds they help shape a musical movement that erases all boundaries.
A melting pot of stories to be told, a wave of hip hop and afrobeat flow with pressing rhythms and metrics that is allowing them to carve out a relevant position in the diverse Neapolitan music scene, on the wave of a growing movement that is aggregating the second and third generation of Neapolitan Afro.
