CuciNights. Dal 20 ottobre a Ponticelli, quattro serate (alle 21) tra teatro e cibo animeranno il centro Ciro Colonna (Via Curzio Malaparte, 42), spazio polifunzionale aperto ai giovani dell’area est di Napoli (gestito dall’associazione Maestri di strada onlus).
La rassegna del collettivo lunAzione diretto da Eduardo Di Pietro (la compagnia quest’anno festeggia dieci anni di attività) è promossa dal Comune di Napoli nell’ambito del progetto “Affabulazione”.
Venerdì 20 ottobre, arriva a Ponticelli il Bus Theater, l’autobus a due piani che si trasforma in un grande teatro viaggiante per raggiungere ogni angolo della città (dal centro storico alle periferie).
In Gran Cabaret. Varietà di circo e teatro, gli attori Rodolfo Cangiano, Ilaria Cecere, Alessio Ferrara, Sara Rumbolo e Chiara D’Agostino costruiscono una grande scatola magica: all’interno, artisti di burlesque, teatro, giocoleria, clown, acrobati, saltimbanchi, burattinai.
Venerdì 3 novembre, c’è ‘O mistero buffo, produzione di Vernicefresca Teatro e La Bottega del Sottoscala. Nicola Mariconda rielabora e riscrive, in dialetto campano e lombardo/veneto, tre testi tratti da Mistero buffo di Dario Fo e Franca Rame. Nelle tre Giullarate, la presa di coscienza dell’esistenza di una cultura popolare, la condanna diretta dell’abuso di potere e il riconoscimento della dignità della persona.
Il 17 novembre, Passaggi. Verso l’isola e IntegralMente. laboratorio di scrittura creativa e teatro di Stefania Bruno e Nicola Laieta con la partecipazione di Valerio Apice, che partendo dalle parole di un racconto di José Saramago conduce i partecipanti verso il desiderio e la ricerca di conoscersi attraverso il proprio e l’altrui sguardo.
Passaggi: Pulcinellesco inizierà con la messinscena del monologo Pulcinellesco di e con Valerio Apice, rendendo omaggio alle compagnie di teatranti girovaghi nella sua originale interpretazione della Commedia dell’arte.
IntegralMente, a cura di Martina e Valentina Di Leva è un momento formativo che punta a far sviluppare la competenza all’uso di un nuovo linguaggio comunicativo.
Il laboratorio è rivolto a persone sorde e udenti per lavorare sulle distanze di relazione, invitando i partecipanti a usare parallelamente una lingua segnica strutturata (Lis) che possa divenire strumento concreto di comunicazione prescindendo dalle parole.
Si chiude venerdì 24 novembre con Il colloquio, spettacolo di successo del Collettivo lunAzione. Il lavoro diretto da Eduardo di Pietro è vincitore del Premio Scenario Periferie 2019, del Premio Fersen alla Regia 2021 e Finalista In-Box 2021.
Interpretato da Renato Bisogni, Alessandro Errico e Marco Montecatino, lo spettacolo si ispira al sistema di ammissione ai colloqui periodici con i detenuti nel carcere di Poggioreale ed è frutto di una serie di interviste a donne che hanno vissuto o vivono il legame con l’istituto di pena.
Conclude Di Pietro: «CuciNights è un titolo giocoso per immaginare una piccola impresa: rendere speciali le “notti” a Ponticelli, e il solo strumento che abbiamo, tutt’altro che poco, è il teatro. La formula associa la ristorazione all’evento teatrale, per esaltare le opportunità d’incontro e soddisfazione degli spettatori. Riuscire a coinvolgere un pubblico trasversale è naturalmente la nostra sfida, dovendo scardinare prima di tutto un immaginario che non concepisce il trascorrere una serata a Ponticelli: è esattamente il campo d’azione del teatro, che plasma e trasforma l’immaginario».
Così il palcoscenico abbraccia l’esperienza gastronomica. La partecipazione agli spettacoli è gratuita, con un aperitivo offerto al pubblico. Ci sarà anche una degustazione di piatti della tradizione (a prezzi popolari), rivisitati dalle cuoche di CuciNapoli Est, cucina sociale nel cuore del quartiere, nata per offrire opportunità di lavoro alle donne e ai giovani del territorio.

Ponticelli/ CuciNights: 4 evenings of theater and food. If the stage is on the bus
CuciNights. Starting October 20th in Ponticelli, four evenings (at 9 p.m.) of theater and food will enliven the Ciro Colonna Center (Via Curzio Malaparte, 42), a multifunctional space open to young people in the eastern area of Naples (run by the non-profit Maestri di strada association).
The review by the lunAzione collective directed by Eduardo Di Pietro (the company will celebrate 10 years of activity this year) is promoted by the City of Naples as part of the “Affabulazione” project.
On Friday, October 20th, arrives in Ponticelli Bus Theater, the double-decker bus that turns into a large traveling theater to reach every corner of the city (from the historic center to the suburbs).

Toward the Island, a creative writing and theater workshop by Stefania Bruno and Nicola Laieta with the participation of Valerio Apice, which starting from the words of a short story by Jose Saramago leads participants toward the desire and quest to know themselves through their own and others’ gaze.
Passages: Pulcinellesco will begin with the staging of the monologue Pulcinellesco by and with Valerio Apice, paying homage to the companies of wandering thespians in his original interpretation of the Commedia dell’arte.
Int he same evinig, IntegralMente, curated by Martina and Valentina Di Leva, is an educational moment that aims to develop competence in the use of a new communicative language.
The workshop is aimed at deaf and hearing people to work on relationship distances, inviting participants to use in parallel a structured sign language (Lis) that can become a concrete tool of communication apart from words.
It closes on Friday, November 24th, with The Conversation, a successful show by the LunAzione Collective. The work directed by Eduardo di Pietro is a winner of the Premio Scenario Periferie 2019, Premio Fersen alla Regia 2021 and In-Box Finalist 2021.
Performed by Renato Bisogni, Alessandro Errico and Marco Montecatino, the show is inspired by the system of admission to periodic interviews with inmates in the Poggioreale prison and is the result of a series of interviews with women who have experienced or are experiencing the bond with the penal institution.
Concludes Di Pietro: “CuciNights is a playful title to imagine a small undertaking: to make “nights” in Ponticelli special, and the only tool we have, far from little, is theater. The formula combines catering with the theatrical event, to enhance opportunities for spectators to meet and be satisfied. Being able to involve a cross-sectional audience is of course our challenge, having to disrupt first of all an imaginary that does not conceive of spending an evening in Ponticelli: this is exactly the scope of theater, which shapes and transforms the imaginary.”
In this way the stage embraces the gastronomic experience. Participation in the performances is free, with an aperitif offered to the audience. There will also be a tasting of traditional dishes (at popular prices), revisited by the cooks of CuciNapoli Est, a social kitchen in the heart of the neighborhood, created to provide employment opportunities for local women and youth.
