“Base per Altezza”. Una rassegna all’Auditorium Porta del Parco di Bagnoli, dal 19 gennaio al 27 febbraio, realizzata con il contributo del Comune di Napoli nell’ambito del progetto “Napoli Città della Musica” e organizzata dalla digital radio AudioLive FM – musica e cultura.
Cinque concerti, cinque momenti per esplorare generi musicali disomogenei eppure collegati tramite linguaggi e forme espressive non coincidenti, alla scoperta dell’alfabeto musicale di base su cui si fonda l’altezza dell’arte.
Si parte venerdì 19 gennaio con Giuseppe Giroffi (sassofoni) Gianluca Manfredonia (vibrafono), Luca Varavallo (contrabbasso), Alex Perrone (batteria) animeranno la serata dal titolo “Brew 4et: a jazz event”. Il concerto propone timbriche e strumenti differenti. Dieci brani inediti in cui tradizione e contemporaneità si mescoleranno vivacemente grazie alla notevole esperienza nazionale e internazionale della formazione.
Mercoledì 24 gennaio arriva “Johann Sebastian Bach: Variazioni Goldberg” che vedrà protagonista il pianista Andrea Bacchetti.
Artista di fama internazionale, Bacchetti eseguirà per “Base per Altezza” le Variazioni Goldberg di Bach (BWV 988), opera considerata il vertice delle sperimentazioni del compositore nella musica per strumenti a tastiera.
Giovedì primo febbraio“Belladdio” concilierà musica e divulgazione diretta non sacrificando qualità e originalità di contenuti. Sul palco Alessandra Borgia (recitante), Cristina Vetrone (voce e organetto), Eduarda Iscaro (voce e fisarmonica). Testo di Anita Pesce.
Una cantante folk al termine della sua carriera ripercorrerà la sua storia accompagnata dalla musica che l’ha portata al successo. Una narrazione in cui le voci femminili si intrecceranno con la musica popolare che ritroverà i suoi contesti d’origine, raccontando una generazione che aveva scelto di credere ai sogni.
Bach sarà il protagonista anche della serata del 7 febbraio dal titolo “Johann Sebastian Bach: Suites per violoncello” con l’esibizione della violoncellista Erica Piccotti che eseguirà tre delle sei suites per violoncello solo (BWV 1007, BWV 1009, BWV 1011), tra le più note e virtuosistiche opere scritte per violoncello.
Chiude il 27 febbraio “Father and Son (inseguendo Chet Baker)” scritto da Stefano Valanzuolo: sul palco Antonello Cossia (recitante), Francesco Scelzo (chitarra) e Enrico Valanzuolo (tromba). Come in un flashback si proverà a far rivivere il più romantico degli eroi della tromba inseguendo il rapporto di un padre geniale con il proprio figlio, fatto di incomprensione, paura, amore per la vita, musica.
“Base per Altezza” prevede inoltre quattro laboratori per le scuole del territorio, tra cui ascolti guidati, un Focus Chet Baker e prove aperte. Auditorium Porta del Parco di Bagnoli/ Base for Height: 5 concerts to explore the depth of music
“Base for Height. A review at the Auditorium Porta del Parco in Bagnoli, from January 19 to February 27, produced with the contribution of the Municipality of Naples as part of the project “Naples City of Music” and organized by the digital radio station AudioLive FM – Music and Culture.
Five concerts, five moments to explore musical genres that are inhomogeneous, but connected by non-coincidental languages and forms of expression, discovering the basic musical alphabet on which the height of art is based.
It starts on Friday, January 19th, with Giuseppe Giroffi (saxophones), Gianluca Manfredonia (vibraphone), Luca Varavallo (double bass), Alex Perrone (drums) who will animate the evening entitled “Brew 4et: a jazz event”. The concert will feature different timbres and instruments. Ten unreleased pieces in which tradition and contemporaneity will be vividly mixed, thanks to the remarkable national and international experience of the line-up.
On Wednesday, January 24th, “Johann Sebastian Bach: Goldberg Variations” will be performed by pianist Andrea Bacchetti.
An internationally renowned artist, Bacchetti will perform Bach’s Goldberg Variations (BWV 988) for “Base for Height,” a work considered the pinnacle of the composer’s experimentation in music for keyboard instruments.
OnThursday, February 1st “Belladdio” will reconcile music and direct outreach without sacrificing quality and originality of content. On stage Alessandra Borgia (acting), Cristina Vetrone (voice and accordion), Eduarda Iscaro (voice and accordion). Text by Anita Pesce.
A folk singer at the end of her career retraces her story, accompanied by the music that brought her success. A narrative in which female voices will be intertwined with folk music that will rediscover its contexts of origin, telling the story of a generation that chose to believe in dreams.
Bach will also be the protagonist of the February 7 evening entitled “Johann Sebastian Bach: Suites for Cello” with a performance by cellist Erica Piccotti, who will play three of the six suites for solo cello (BWV 1007, BWV 1009, BWV 1011), among the most famous and virtuoso works written for the cello.
On February 27th, the concert will conclude with “Father and Son (chasing Chet Baker)”, written by Stefano Valanzuolo: on stage will be Antonello Cossia (recitalist), Francesco Scelzo (guitar) and Enrico Valanzuolo (trumpet). As if in a flashback, they will try to revive the most romantic of trumpet heroes, following the relationship between a brilliant father and his son, born of misunderstanding, fear, love of life and music.
On February 27th, the show “Father and Son (chasing Chet Baker)” written by Stefano Valanzuolo will be performed by Antonello Cossia (acting), Francesco Scelzo (guitar) and Enrico Valanzuolo (trumpet). As if in a flashback, they will try to revive the most romantic of trumpet heroes, in the course of which they will trace the relationship between a brilliant father and his son, a relationship full of misunderstandings, fears, love of life and music.
