Nuovi appuntamenti al Museo Cappella Sansevero in apertura straordinaria. Il programma si estende fino all’autunno, per esplorare i misteri e gli enigmi del gioiello barocco e ampliare le opportunità di rilettura del suo patrimonio. Due gli itinerari di visita.
L’associazione culturale NarteA ripropone in Cappella la sua iniziativa teatralizzata di maggior successo, Il testamento di pietra, scritta e diretta da Febo Quercia, interpretata da Raffaele Ausiello, Mario Di Fonzo e Alessio Sica (doppi turni di visita in programma il 24 febbraio, il 18 maggio e il 16 novembre 2024, alle 19:30 e alle 20:30).
Torna anche Simboli e segreti della Cappella Sansevero, il percorso esoterico di e con Martin Rua, che si inoltra nei misteri celati nel tempio artistico concepito dal principe Raimondo di Sangro nel Settecento (15 marzo e 27 novembre 2024, ore 19:30).
Il testamento di pietra è un viaggio teatrale alla scoperta della Napoli massonica ed esoterica. Tra storia e alchimia, leggende e studi scientifici, è investigata la figura del principe Raimondo di Sangro, la cui storia si intreccia a quella di altri due personaggi: lo scultore napoletano Giuseppe Sammartino e il medico palermitano Giuseppe Salerno. Nel corso della visita, è possibile ammirare capolavori come il Cristo velato, la Pudicizia e il Disinganno e la Cavea sotterranea, dove sono conservate le famose Macchine anatomiche.
Simboli e segreti della Cappella Sansevero offre l’opportunità di vivere e visitare il Museo Cappella Sansevero, al di fuori dai consueti orari di apertura al pubblico, con una guida d’eccezione.
Prendendo spunto dalle ricerche di studiosi come Sigfrido Höbel e Mario Buonoconto, Martin Rua, scrittore ed esperto della tradizione esoterica, conduce i visitatori nel labirinto di simboli del complesso monumentale, rivelando precise corrispondenze tra i rituali di iniziazione massonica e le fasi del procedimento alchemico, rendendo onore al principe Raimondo di Sangro, studioso poliedrico, che si interessò anche di alchimia e fu Gran Maestro della Massoneria napoletana, La visita è ispirata al suo libro Il rituale di pietra. Simboli e segreti della Cappella Sansevero (alós edizioni, 2015), è in italiano e dura un’ora circa.
Fino al 4 marzo, inoltre, il Museo Cappella Sansevero propone anche la mostra Haravec|Gli esperimenti del principe Raimondo di Sangro nelle illustrazioni di Daniela Pergreffi, ospitata nello spazio Off Gallery in via Raimondo di Sangro 20 (di fronte all’ingresso laterale della Cappella Sansevero).

The Chapel of Sansevero / NarteA and Martin Rua are back with guided tours to discover the secrets of Prince Raymond
New appointments at the Sansevero Chapel Museum in extraordinary opening. The program continues into the autumn, to explore the mysteries and enigmas of the Baroque jewel and expand opportunities to reinterpret its heritage. There are two visiting itineraries.
The cultural association NarteA revives in the Chapel its most successful theatrical initiative, The stone testament, written and directed by Febo Quercia, interpreted by Raffaele Ausiello, Mario Di Fonzo and Alessio Sica (double rounds of visits scheduled on February 24th, May 18th and November 16th, 2024, at 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm).
Also back is Symbols and secrets of the Sansevero Chapel, the esoteric tour by and with Martin Rua, which enters the mysteries hidden in the artistic temple conceived by Prince Raimondo di Sangro in the 18th century (March 15th and November 27th, 2024, 7:30 pm).
Testament of stone is a theatrical journey to discover Masonic and esoteric Naples. Between history and alchemy, legends and scientific studies, the figure of Prince Raimondo di Sangro is investigated, whose story is intertwined with that of two other characters: the Neapolitan sculptor Giuseppe Sammartino and the Palermo physician Giuseppe Salerno. During the visit, you can admire masterpieces such as the Veiled Christ, Modesty and Disillusionment, and the underground Cavea, where the famous Anatomical Machines are kept.
The tour Symbols and secrets of the Sansevero Chapel offer the opportunity to experience and visit the Sansevero Chapel Museum, outside the usual public opening hours, with an exceptional guide.
Inspired by the research of experts such as Sigfrido Höbel and Mario Buonoconto, Martin Rua, a writer and expert in the esoteric tradition, leads visitors through the labyrinth of symbols in the monumental complex, revealing precise correspondences between Masonic initiation rituals and the stages of the alchemical process. He honors Prince Raimondo di Sangro, a multifaceted scholar who was also interested in alchemy and was Grand Master of Neapolitan Freemasonry. Martin Rua’s book, The stone ritual, served as his inspiration. Symbols and Secrets of the Sansevero Chapel (alos editions, 2015). The tour is in Italian and lasts about an hour.
Until March 4th, furthermore, the Sansevero Chapel Museum also offers the exhibition Haravec|The Experiments of Prince Raimondo di Sangro in the Illustrations of Daniela Pergreffi, hosted in the Off Gallery space at 20 Via Raimondo di Sangro (opposite the side entrance to the Sansevero Chapel).
