Giovani talenti alla ribalta. Tra i principali obiettivi di Körper, Centro nazionale di produzione della danza (diretto da Gennaro Cimmino) che ha a Napoli in piazza Vittoria il suo quartier generale, c’è quello di dare spazio alle nuove generazioni. E domani, domenica 2 giugno (alle 18) nel teatro del centro il pubblico potrà assistere alla performance Vuoto/Vertigini (foto), spettacolo conclusivo del progetto Körper Young, percorso di avviamento al mondo professionale della danza ideato da Cimmino e curato da Susanna Sastro e Flavio Ferruzzi.
Körper Young è un corso di perfezionamento/lavoro totalmente gratuito, destinato a giovani danzatori under 23 residenti in Campania. Nel corso degli ultimi tre mesi Spazio Körper ha ospitato le danzatrici selezionate per questa seconda parte del progetto; le allieve, guidate dai coreografi Susanna Sastro e Flavio Ferruzzi, si sono cimentate nello studio e nella ripresa del repertorio della Compagnia Körper, costruendo così un bagaglio di esperienza che senza dubbio contribuirà alla loro crescita artistica e professionale.
Lo spettacolo rappresenta il momento conclusivo della seconda fase del progetto, una nuova performance curata dai coordinatori Susanna Sastro e Flavio Ferruzzi.
«Sulla scena due storie, frammenti di vita, due percorsi – spiegano i coreografi – due strade parallele con un valore in comune: raccontare. La verità dei ricordi di un passato personale, a volte riconoscibile, ci condurrà in scena verso una visione inedita della realtà. Questa nuova messa in scena del progetto Körper Young è una sfida personale che li accompagnerà verso nuovi orizzonti dei linguaggi della contemporaneità. In un dialogo continuo con le proprie emozioni le giovani danzatrici selezionate metteranno in campo tutte le abilità acquisite in questi mesi di residenza a Körper per immergersi nella nostra ricerca coreografica».
Vuoto ha debuttato nel marzo 2018 con la regia e coreografia di Susanna Sastro; il lavoro nasce per raccontare un vuoto che non si può riempire, un bisogno di ricercare delle risposte. I danzatori si confrontano con una realtà difficile da esprimere: lo studio del movimento corporeo è il prodotto di ciò che accade nella testa, le immagini si fanno sempre più sbiadite e confuse, come se vi fossero dei vuoti di memoria di pensiero e di ricordi.
All’immagine del vuoto si associa sulla scena quell’improvvisa e ingestibile sensazione di vertigine che innesca timore e disorientamento. Vertigini è un progetto coreografico di Flavio Ferruzzi, una storia personale che diventa narrazione universale e che si ramifica nel racconto inedito delle otto interpreti presenti sulla scena (Annalisa Beneduce, Camilla Caiazzo, Federica D’Angelo, Martina De Micco, Lucia Suamy Di Rauso, Valeria Emendato, Aria Maria Ferraro, Giulia Rizzo).

Space Body/ Young dance talents between emptiness and vertigo: on stage, a project for the new generations
Young talents in the spotlight. One of the main goals of Körper, the National Center for Dance Production (directed by Gennaro Cimmino), which has its headquarters in Piazza Vittoria in Naples, is to give space to new generations. And tomorrow, Sunday, June 2nd (at 6 p.m.), the public will have the opportunity to attend the performance Vuoto/Vertigini, the final show of the project Körper Young, a path to the professional world of dance, conceived by Cimmino and curated by Susanna Sastro and Flavio Ferruzzi.
Körper Young is a completely free training/work course for young dancers under the age of 23 living in Campania. For the past three months, Spazio Körper has hosted the dancers selected for this second part of the project; under the guidance of choreographers Susanna Sastro and Flavio Ferruzzi, the students have tried their hand at studying and reviving the repertoire of Compagnia Körper, gaining a wealth of experience that will undoubtedly contribute to their artistic and professional growth.
The performance represents the final moment of the second phase of the project, a new performance curated by the coordinators Susanna Sastro and Flavio Ferruzzi.

The truth of memories of a personal past, sometimes recognizable, will lead us on stage to an unprecedented vision of reality. This new staging of the Body Young project is a personal challenge that will lead them to new horizons of contemporary languages. In an ongoing dialogue with their own emotions, the selected young dancers will bring all the skills they have acquired during these months of residency at Körper to immerse themselves in our choreographic research.
Vuoto will debut in March 2018, directed and choreographed by Susanna Sastro.The work was created to narrate an emptiness that cannot be filled, a need to search.
