Un festival indipendente. Che connette due grandi luoghi della mente: l’Opera letteraria e il Deserto. Concentrandosi sulla necessità dell’opera letteraria ma anche su quello spazio dell’anima in cui s’incontrano dimensioni invisibili, fatte di sentimenti e emozioni.
Se l’opera è un cammino del pensiero in cui intrecciare storie, il deserto è isolamento indispensabile per poterle sviluppare: così il silenzio respira attraverso l’immaginario. E il Festival della letteratura indipendente di Pomigliano d’Arco si svolge intorno a questo potente abbraccio. Dal 30 agosto al primo settembre nel parco Giovanni Paolo II già culla del Pomigliano jazz festival e luogo ideale per inebriarsi all’aperto di parole scritte.
Quest’anno, infatti, si è preferito optare per una sede unica dove sarà allestita, un’ area curata dal Berlin Pub e da SNAP, due attività del territorio pomiglianese, in modo da consentire al mondo del Flip di non doversi allontanare troppo per mangiare qualcosa, continuando a seguire tutti gli incontri.
Si partirà il venerdì con la prima sessione mattutina dedicata alla letteratura per l’infanzia. Alle 10.30 Maria Carmela Polisi e Francesca Archinto coordineranno l’incontro con l’illustratore belga Jean-Luc Englebert, pubblicato in Italia da Babalibri.
Alle 11.30 la biblioteca Fiordilibro modererà l’appuntamento dal titolo Sgrunt, Testone e Teschio e l’altra forma delle storie: grandi e piccini incontrano Alice Coppini e Daniele Movarelli.
Il festival si concluderà domenica con l’ultima Opera sospesa (Mu ̔allaqāt): incontro con l’autore mantovano Antonio Moresco, moderato dal professore Francesco De Cristofaro. Media partner dell’evento, magazine Bookreporter. Tra gli ospiti del festival diretto (artisticamente) da Eduaedo Savarese, anche lo scrittore britannico Geoff Dyer.

Pomigliano d’Arco/ An independent festival to be hugged (en plein air) by literature
An independent festival. Connecting two great places of the spirit: the literary work and the desert. Focusing on the necessity of the literary work, but also on that space of the soul where invisible dimensions of feelings and emotions meet.
If the work is a path of thought in which to weave stories, the desert is the indispensable isolation in which to develop them: thus silence breathes through the imaginary. And the Pomigliano d’Arco Independent Literary Festival takes place around this powerful embrace. From August 30th to September 1st in the John Paul II Park, already the cradle of the Pomigliano Jazz Festival and an ideal place to get intoxicated by the written word in the open air.
This year, in fact, it was decided to opt for a single venue where it will be set up, an ‘area curated by the Berlin Pub and SNAP, two activities of the Pomigliano area, so that the world of Flip does not have to stray too far to eat something while continuing to follow all the meetings.

At 11:30 a.m., the Fiordilibro library will host a meeting entitled “Sgrunt, Big Head and Skull and the Other Shape of Stories”: children and adults will meet Alice Coppini and Daniele Movarelli.
The festival will end on Sunday with the last meeting of the Suspended Work (Mu ̔allaqāt): a meeting with the Mantuan writer Antonio Moresco, moderated by Professor Francesco De Cristofaro. Media partner of the event: Bookreporter magazine. Among the guests at the festival, directed (artistically) by Eduardo Savarese, is the British writer Geoff Dyer.
