Nel Palazzo Reale di Napoli in piazza del plebiscito sarà possibile visitare non solo l’appartamento di Etichetta, ma anche il nuovo Museo della Fabbrica di Palazzo Reale, al pianterreno con accesso dal Cortile d’Onore – dove si trova anche la nuova biglietteria – e la mostra che completa la storia della costruzione e dei cambiamenti della reggia: “𝘘𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘳𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘪 𝘥𝘪 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘢. 𝘓𝘢 f𝘢𝘣𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢 𝘥𝘪 𝘗𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘻𝘻𝘰 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘦” nella Galleria del Genovese, al termine del percorso di visita.
Da oggi, a un anno dall’inaugurazione, riapre il Museo Caruso dopo tre giorni dedicati al riallestimento in cui l’esposizione di cimeli è stata arricchita da un’intera parete con 65 dischi da lui incisi nei primi anni venti del secolo scorso. Il nuovo allestimento di oggetti rari è stato reso possibile dalla donazione del collezionista Luciano Pituello.
Il Museo Caruso è accessibile tutti i giorni dalle ore 9 alle 14 (ultimo ingresso ore 13) mentre nella serata di apertura straordinaria sabato 3 agosto ( dalle 20,00 alle 23 con ultimo ingresso alle 22,00) e nella giornata di domenica 4 agosto con accesso gratuito, sarà necessaria la prenotazione (https://portale.museiitaliani.it/b2c/buyTicketless/4bad3b4a-f7ea-4b25-b00f-0a3a52e076c5).
Sabato 17 agosto, invece, come ogni terzo sabato del mese, ritorna l’iniziativa “Il sabato dei depositi. Visite guidate ai depositi di arredi e opere d’arte di Palazzo Reale “. Il personale del Museo accompagnerà i visitatori al Deposito Foriera dove sono conservati gli arredi ottocenteschi provenienti dalle sale oggi occupate dalla Biblioteca. La Foriera, alla quale si accede attraverso un’antica scala ellittica (nella foto), si trova nel lato del Palazzo che affaccia su via Acton, dove un tempo si trovava l’Arsenale.
Le visite saranno effettuate per gruppi di massimo 25 persone dalle 10 alle 11,30 e dalle 11,30 alle 13 su prenotazione con un costo di 3 euro, oltre al biglietto d’ingresso al museo. Il 15 agosto sarà regolarmente aperto.

Royal Palace/ A summer like a king in Naples: the evening of the first Saturday in August. Sunday with free admission
“𝗨𝗻 s𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗮 r𝗲” in August. From 8 p.m. to midnight (last admission 11 p.m.) at a cost of 5.00 euros. The first weekend of this month offers an extraordinary opening Saturday evening and free Sunday as all Italian museums.
In the Royal Palace of Naples, in Piazza del Plebiscito, it will be possible to visit not only the apartment of Etichetta, but also the new Museum of the Factory of the Royal Palace, on the first floor with access from the Cortile d’Onore – where the new ticket office is also located – and the exhibition that completes the history of the construction and changes of the Palace: “𝘘𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘳𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘪 𝘥𝘪 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘢”. 𝘓𝘢 f𝘢𝘣𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢 𝘥𝘪 𝘗𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘻𝘻𝘰 𝘙𝘦𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘦” in the Genovese Gallery at the end of the tour route (photo).
One year after its inauguration, the Caruso Museum reopens after three days of renovation, during which the display of memorabilia was enriched with an entire wall of 65 records he recorded in the early 1920s. The new display of rare items was made possible by a donation from collector Luciano Pituello.
The Caruso Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (last entry at 1 p.m.), while on the special opening night Saturday, August 3 (from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. with last entry at 10 p.m.) and Sunday, August 4, with free access, reservations are required.
On Saturday, August 17th, as every third Saturday of the month, the initiative “Saturday of the Depots” will take place. Guided tours of the Depot of Furniture and Works of Art of the Royal Palace. Museum staff will accompany visitors to the Foriera Depot, where 19th-century furnishings from the rooms now occupied by the Library are kept. The Foriera, accessed by an ancient elliptical staircase (see photo), is located on the side of the Palace facing Via Acton, where the Arsenal once stood.
Guided tourss are available for groups of up to 25 people from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. by appointment at a cost of 3 euros, in addition to the museum entrance fee. It will be open regularly on August 15th.
