Bacoli, torna il Festival del cinema e della cultura archeologica (Fab) dal 9 al 12 ottobre. Al grido di “Non è fantasia, è magia”, nel parco borbonico del Fusaro la seconda edizione diretta da Nicola Barile e organizzata da Giovanni Parisi e Giovanni Calvino per TILE Storytellers, con il contributo della Regione Campania e della Fondazione Film Commission Regione Campania.
Nel programma della seconda edizione proiezioni di documentari aperte al pubblico nell’ex sala dell’Ostrichina, attualmente sala Scotto di Luzio. Le mattine saranno dedicate ai più piccoli, con il coinvolgimento degli alunni delle scuole del territorio, e la collaborazione con il polo pediatrico dell’ospedale Santobono Pausillipon di Napoli con i live streaming per i piccoli pazienti, organizzati da Emanuela Capuano.
Nel pomeriggio il coinvolgimento delle università, ma anche dibattiti sul territorio, il cinema e le nuove tecnologie, nella Casina Vanvitelliana con un archeo-buffet a tema “Antica Roma”, tra cui quello a tema con i parchi archeologici (Ostia Antica, Baia Sommersa, Campi Flegrei) e quello con gli atenei napoletani (Federico II, Orientale, Vanvitelli).
Inoltre, docenti e i ricercatori dell’Università Suor Orsola Benincasa di Napoli mostreranno come si restaura e tutela il patrimonio culturale dei Campi Flegrei, mentre le associazioni “Militum Schola” e “Gruppo archeologico Kyme” intratterranno i bambini con laboratori sui giochi, la produzione del pane e il mestiere di medico nell’antica Roma.
Sono stati selezionati in concorso 16 film, provenienti anche da Iran, Spagna e Turchia, che verranno valutati da una giuria di esperti del settore e dal pubblico: Orfeo ed Euridice di Francesco Romanelli, Don Pelayo di Marcelino Díaz, Tremors di Nicolas Jacquette, Lady Sapiens di Thomas Cirotteau, Alexander The Great Pharaoh di Curtis Ryan Woodside, Neanderthal: The First Artist di Thibaud Marchand, Witness Of History Gazintep: Septimius Severus Bridge And Ancient Tombs di Yusuf Islam Ölmez, Cast in bronze di Mario Giua Marassi, Giordania Biblica di Alberto Castellani, Pret’ A Mmare di Francesco Guardascione, Pompei, Le Secret De La Villa De Civita Giuliana di Gedeon Programmes, The Philae Operation, Rescuing The Nile’s Temple di Oliver Lemaitre.
Tra i partner dell’evento il Mann (Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli), il Parco Archeologico dei Campi Flegrei, il Museo Darwin-Dohrn, la Soprintendenza dell’Area Metropolitana di Napoli, l’EAV, il Parco Borbonico del Fusaro, la Fondazione Santobono Pausilipon, il Royal District dei Siti Reali Borbonici, l’Associazione Aenea, il Parco Sommerso di Baia, la Pro Loco di Bacoli. La rassegna ha ricevuto il patrocinio di Rai Campania e ha firmato la Media Partnership con Bacoli.it.
I premi (miglior documentario per la giuria e quello per il pubblico) consisteranno in statue che rappresentano una Kore moderna (foto) avvolta in una pellicola cinematografica, firmate dall’artista Salvatore Scuotto fondatore, insieme ai due fratelli, de La Scarabattola, autori, tra gli altri, del premio Giffoni Film Festival. Curatore della rassegna cinematografica è Dario Di Blasi, organizzatore e consulente per festival nazionali e internazionali, come Rovereto, Firenze, Atene, Spalato.

Bacoli/ Archaeological Film and Culture Festival (October 9th to 12th): the magic of the myth enchants also children
Bacoli, the Festival of Archaeological Film and Culture (Fab) returns from October 9th to 12th. With the slogan “It’s not fantasy, it’s magic”, the second edition, directed by Nicola Barile and organized by Giovanni Parisi and Giovanni Calvino for TILE Storytellers, with the contribution of the Campania Region and the Fondazione Film Commission Regione Campania, will take place in the Fusaro Bourbon Park.
The program of the second edition includes screenings of documentaries open to the public in the former Ostrichina Room, now the Scotto di Luzio Room. The mornings will be dedicated to the youngest, with the participation of students from local schools and in collaboration with the Pediatric Unit of the Santobono Pausillipon Hospital in Naples, with live streaming for young patients, organized by Emanuela Capuano.
In the afternoon, the involvement of the universities, but also debates on the territory, cinema and new technologies, in the Casina Vanvitelliana with an archaeo-buffet themed “Ancient Rome”, including one with archaeological parks (Ostia Antica, Baia Sommersa, Campi Flegrei) and one with Neapolitan universities (Federico II, Orientale, Vanvitelli).
In addition, professors and researchers from the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples will show how to restore and protect the cultural heritage of the Phlegraean Fields, while the associations “Militum Schola” and “Kyme Archaeological Group” will entertain children with workshops on games, bread-making and the work of a doctor in ancient Rome.

Among the partners of the event are the Mann (National Archaeological Museum of Naples), the Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields, the Darwin-Dohrn Museum, the Superintendence of the Metropolitan Area of Naples, the EAV, the Fusaro Bourbon Park, the Santobono Pausilipon Foundation, the Royal District of the Bourbon Royal Sites, the Aenea Association, the Submerged Park of Baia and the Pro Loco of Bacoli. The Festival is under the patronage of Rai Campania and has signed a media partnership with Bacoli.it.
The prizes (best documentary for the jury and the one for the public) will consist of statues representing a modern Kore (photo) wrapped in a cinematographic film, signed by artist Salvatore Scuotto founder, together with the two brothers, of La Scarabattola, authors, among others, of the Giffoni Film Festival Award. Curator of the film festival is Dario Di Blasi, organizer and consultant for national and international festivals, such as Rovereto, Florence, Athens, Split.
