Anche per il 2024 Napoli ospita l’evento sportivo più atteso e più partecipato della città: la Neapolis Marathon. La giornata di sabato 12 ottobre sarà ricca di eventi e performance per allietare l’attesa della vera e propria gara che si terrà il 13 mattina, con la Maratona (42 km), la mezza Maratona (21km) e la non-competitiva (12km).
Tanti gli appuntamenti da vivere sabato 12, dunque. Il cuore pulsante è Piazza del Plebiscito (luogo sia delle partenze che dei traguardi), in cui sarà allestito il Villaggio della Maratona con numerosi stand e momenti musicali.
E per chi non gareggia, l’associazione Neapolis Discovery propone due tour per vedere la città con uno spirito diverso: il tour Fast Walk (7 km con fermate strategiche e soprese per i camminatori a passo svelto) e il tour Magic Walk (4 km a passo libero e anche qui non mancheranno le soprese).
Boom di registrazioni per partecipare, si prevede un’affluenza di circa 400 persone già solo per queste due passeggiate.
Ma quest’anno si è voluto fare ancora un passo in più verso la bellezza e osare il connubio “sport&arte”. Nasce così l’idea di un’estemporanea artistica che si terrà sempre il 12 ottobre, sempre in Piazza del Plebiscito tra i gazebo della manifestazione e che vede la presenza di 9 artisti all’opera sul momento. Dalle 10.30 alle 15 uno spicchio di Piazza si colora con i tanti stili diversi di pittori e streetartist, che si ispireranno al tema di questa prima edizione creativa: il movimento.
Ecco chi sono: Alexandra Kurana, Bruna Troise, Simona Giglio, Veronica Vecchione, Francesca Confessore, Danilo Spiteri, Camilla Rickler, Serena Capinera, Aldam. Tutto questo per proporre una visione “sana” della vita, dal benessere corporeo a quello dell’anima. Una boccata di aria buona, una sferzata alle nostre endorfine che ci spalancano la “finestra emozionale” dopo aver camminato in una città splendida come Napoli.
Vieni a provare queste emozioni sabato 12 e domenica 13 ottobre.

Neapolis Marathon/ Not just sport in Plebiscite Square. Nine artists for an extemporaneous show of creativity (October 12th)
Also in 2024, Naples will host the city’s most awaited and attended sporting event: the Neapolitan Marathon. The day of Saturday, October 12th, will be full of activities and shows to cheer up the wait for the actual race, which will take place on the morning of the 13th, with the Marathon (42 km), the Half Marathon (21 km) and the Non-Competitive (12 km).
So many events to experience on Saturday the 12th. The beating heart will be Piazza del Plebiscito (start and end point), where the Marathon Village will be set up, with numerous stands and musical moments.
And for those who do not take part in the race, the Neapolis Discovery Association proposes two tours to discover the city in a different way: the Fast Walk tour (7 km with strategic stops and surprises for the fast walkers) and the Magic Walk tour (4 km at a free pace and with no lack of surprises).
Registration is booming, with around 400 people expected to take part in these two walks in particular.
But this year they wanted to go one step further towards beauty and dared to combine “sport&art”. Thus was born the idea of an extemporaneous art event to be held on October 12th, once again in the Plebiscite Square between the event’s pavilions, with 9 artists working on site. From 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., a section of the square will be colored by the different styles of painters and street artists inspired by the theme of this first creative edition: movement.
Here are who they are: Alexandra Kurana, Bruna Troise, Simona Giglio, Veronica Vecchione, Francesca Confessore, Danilo Spiteri, Camilla Rickler, Serena Capinera, Aldam. All this to propose a “healthy” vision of life, from the well-being of the body to that of the soul. A breath of fresh air, a boost of endorphins that open our “emotional window” after a walk in a beautiful city like Naples.
