Weekend con Art Days. Arriva l’edizione 2024 di Art Days Napoli Campania: mostre, progetti espositivi speciali, eventi e aperture straordinarie di musei, gallerie e spazi privati e pubblici riuniti in una mappa del contemporaneo.
Tema di quest’anno La foresta di fili, partendo da una rilettura contemporanea della raccolta seicentesca di fiabe Lo Cunto de li Cunti di Giambattista Basile. Art Days diventa così un dispositivo narrativo pronto ad accogliere, giorno per giorno, le storie della comunità artistica che costituisce il territorio.
Appuntamento sabato 19 (dalle 18 alle 21) e domenica 20 ottobre (dalle ore 11 alle ore 19) per l’inaugurazione dei progetti speciali di Art Days 2024, che apriranno straordinariamente le porte del complesso “La Santissima – Community hub” / ex ospedale Militare.
Dal 21 al 27 ottobre la programmazione della manifestazione con i Premi, l’Agenda dell’Arte e un ricco Public Program di talk, seminari e conversazioni a ingresso gratuito.
Art Days è un progetto di imprenditoria culturale tutto al femminile nato nel 2021 con l’ambizione di mappare e mettere a sistema la rete degli attori dell’arte e della cultura contemporanea. E si sviluppa sotto la direzione artistica di Valeria Bevilacqua, Martina Campese, Raffaella Ferraro e Letizia Mari, un team under-35 di professioniste dell’arte e della progettazione culturale dell’associazione Attiva Cultural Projects. È supportato da un Comitato Scientifico composto da esperti del settore, quali Teresa Carnevale, Rischa Paterlini e Adriana Rispoli, oltre a Fabio Agovino e Luigi A. M. Rossi.
La manifestazione è realizzata da Attiva Cultural Projects con il patrocinio della Regione Campania, del Comune di Napoli, dell’Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli e di Fondazione Italia Patria della Bellezza, e con il Matronato della Fondazione Donnaregina per le Arti Contemporanee – Museo Madre.
I progetti speciali di Art Days apriranno le porte del complesso “La Santissima– Community hub” / ex Ospedale Militare. Dopo decenni di abbandono, l’edificio monumentale si avvia verso un progetto di rigenerazione nato grazie alla partnership con l’Agenzia del Demanio, Comune di Napoli, Urban Value e Coop4Art, puntando a trasformare il complesso in un vivace centro culturale e polifunzionale.
Dopo l’inaugurazione (sabato 19 e domenica 20 ottobre), il complesso sarà aperto per l’intera settimana della manifestazione: da lunedì 21 a venerdì 25 (ore 17 – 21), e sabato 26 e domenica 27 ottobre (ore 11 – 19). Si svolgeranno, inoltre, delle visite speciali a cura di OpenHouse (sabato 19 alle ore 17.30; domenica 20 ore 16.30 e 17.30).
Nell’ambito del Public Program si svolgeranno, inoltre, due presentazioni editoriali: martedì 22 ottobre (dalle ore 18 alle 19.30 presso SuperOtium, Via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi 8, Napoli) sarà presentato il catalogo della mostra a cura di Nicola Ciancio “Look Closer – 7 opere in camera da letto” che nasce con l’obiettivo di mettere in contatto diretto ed intimo chi viene dall’estero con la scena artistica locale; mentre sabato 26 ottobre (dalle ore 18 alle 20) un appuntamento speciale per l’apertura in preview della nuova libreria Dispaccio in Via Luigi Settembrini 33 a Napoli. Verrà presentato il nuovo numero di Ŏpĕra magazine di Attiva Cultural Projects alla presenza della Direzione artistica.
Inoltre, l’Agenda dell’arte partirà lunedì 21 alle 18 al Museo Emblema di Terzigno, con l’inaugurazione di Lezioni americane, la mostra che espone le opere di Salvatore Emblema da collezioni d’oltreoceano.

Art Days Napoli Campania/ The Forest of Threads: spreading culture through the re-reading of Basile’s Lo Cunto. The former military hospital reopens its doors (October 21st -27th)
Weekend with Art Days. The 2024 edition of Art Days Napoli Campania arrives: exhibitions, special exhibition projects, events and special openings of museums, galleries and private and public spaces brought together in a map of the contemporary.
This year’s theme, The Forest of Threads, begins with a contemporary reinterpretation of Giambattista Basile’s 17th century collection of fairy tales, Lo Cunto de li Cunti. Art Days will thus become a narrative device, ready to welcome, day by day, the stories of the artistic community that makes up the territory.
Appointment on Saturday, October 19th (from 6 to 9 p.m.) and Sunday, October 20th (from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.) for the inauguration of the special projects of Art Days 2024, which will extraordinarily open the doors of the complex “La Santissima – Community hub” / former military hospital.

Art Days is an all-female cultural entrepreneurship project, born in 2021 with the ambition to map and systematize the network of contemporary art and culture actors. And it is being developed under the artistic direction of Valeria Bevilacqua, Martina Campese, Raffaella Ferraro and Letizia Mari, a team of under-35 female art and culture professionals from the association Attiva Cultural Projects.
It is supported by a scientific committee made up of experts in the field such as Teresa Carnevale, Rischa Paterlini and Adriana Rispoli, as well as Fabio Agovino and Luigi A.M. Rossi.
The event is produced by Attiva Cultural Projects under the patronage of the Region of Campania, the Municipality of Naples, the Naples Academy of Fine Arts and the Fondazione Italia Patria della Bellezza, with the support of the Fondazione Donnaregina per le Arti Contemporanee – Museo Madre.
The special projects of the Art Days will open the doors of the “La Santissima – Community hub”/former military hospital complex. After decades of neglect, the monumental building is undergoing a regeneration project thanks to a partnership with the Agenzia del Demanio, the Municipality of Naples, Urban Value and Coop4Art, which aims to transform the complex into a vibrant cultural and multi-purpose center.
After the opening (Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20th), the complex will be open the entire week of the event: Monday, Oct. 21 through Friday, October 25th (5 to 9 p.m.) and Saturday, Oct. 26 and Sunday, October 27th (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.). There will also be special open house tours (Saturday, October 19th at 5:30 p.m.; Sunday, October 20th at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.).
As part of the public program, two editorial presentations will also take place: on Tuesday, October 22nd (from 6 to 7 p.m. 30 at SuperOtium, Via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi 8, Naples), the catalog of the exhibition curated by Nicola Ciancio “Look Closer – 7 works in the bedroom” will be presented, which was created with the aim of bringing foreigners into direct and intimate contact with the local art scene; while on Saturday, October 26th (from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.), a special date will be set for the preview opening of the new Dispaccio bookshop at 33 Via Luigi Settembrini in Naples. The new issue of Attiva Cultural Projects’ magazine Ŏpĕra will be presented in the presence of the Art Direction.
In addition, the Art Agenda will begin on Monday 21st at 6 pm at the Emblema Museum in Terzigno with the opening of American Lessons, an exhibition of works by Salvatore Emblema from overseas collections.
