Di sera, alla Biblioteca universitaria di Napoli (Bun). Al pubblico si offre una straordinaria opportunità: quella di visitare in apertura straordinario un luogo napoletano dal grande fascino, situato intorno al cortile delle statue dell’Università Federico II.
Le visite guidate di 60 minuti si svolgeranno sabato 19 ottobre alle 18, 19, 20. E rientrano nella manifestazione Open House Napoli (Ohn), un format che offre ai cittadini la straordinaria opportunità di scoprire architetture e storie di luoghi generalmente non accessibili. Un’occasione unica perché è la prima volta che la Bun aderisce alla manifestazione. Ingresso per ordine di arrivo. Non è possibile prenotare. Si entra da Via Giovanni Paladino, 39. Appuntamento nel cortile delle statue.
Accompagnati dai volontari di Ohn e dal personale della Bun, i visitatori saranno guidati alla scoperta dei tesori storici e architettonici della Biblioteca.
Il percorso si snoderà tra inaspettati reperti archeologici e opere rare di scrittori censurati, esplorando anche affascinanti percorsi esoterici. Per rendere l’esperienza ancora più immersiva e coinvolgente, la visita sarà illuminata da candele, creando un’atmosfera misteriosa e suggestiva.
Un elemento speciale dell’allestimento sarà l’uso di codici crittografati che i visitatori potranno scoprire e decifrare durante il percorso, guidati da spiegazioni che li introdurranno a questo mondo nascosto della comunicazione segreta. L’intera visita sarà impreziosita da un allestimento appositamente elaborato per l’occasione, in cui la suggestione della sera e le antiche opere esposte si fondono per offrire al pubblico un’esperienza indimenticabile.
Open House Napoli fa parte della rete internazionale di Open House Worldwide, il primo festival globale dell’architettura fondato a Londra nel 1992 per coinvolgere i cittadini e far comprendere quanto una migliore progettazione degli spazi urbani influisca positivamente sulla qualità della vita. Prezioso strumento di conoscenza, dialogo e contributo al disegno delle città di domani, Open House è un fenomeno in vertiginosa crescita che coinvolge 58 città e oltre un milione di cittadini nei cinque continenti. OPEN HOUSE NAPOLI/ The University Library opens its doors at night. Amid archaeological finds and rare works by censored writers
In the evening, at the University Library of Naples (Bun). An extraordinary opportunity is offered to the public: that of visiting a fascinating Neapolitan place located around the statues courtyard of the University Federico II, in an extraordinary opening.
The 60-minute guided tours will take place on Saturday 20th October at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. and are part of the event Open House Naples (Ohn), a format that offers citizens the extraordinary opportunity to discover the architecture and history of places that are generally inaccessible. This is a unique opportunity because it is the first time that Bun has participated in the event. Admission in order of arrival. Reservations are not possible. The entrance is from Via Giovanni Paladino, 39. Meet in the courtyard of the statues.
Accompanied by Ohn volunteers and Bun staff, visitors will be guided to discover the historical and architectural treasures of the library.
The tour will wind through unexpected archaeological finds and rare works by censored writers, while also exploring fascinating esoteric paths. To make the experience even more immersive and engaging, the tour will be illuminated by candles, creating a mysterious and evocative atmosphere.
A special feature of the exhibition will be the use of encrypted codes that visitors will be able to discover and decipher during the tour, guided by explanations that will introduce them to this hidden world of secret communication. The entire visit will be embellished by a setting specially designed for the occasion, in which the suggestion of the evening and the ancient works on display will come together to offer the public an unforgettable experience.
