«Ogni giorno aggiungo e scopro qualcosa che non avevo ancora visto». Così Claude Monet spiegava le sue variazioni su un unico tema, in questo caso la Cattedrale di Rouen in Normandia.
Ne studiava la luce, quando la sua vista era pesantemente offuscata da una cataratta bilaterale che comprometteva la percezione del colore. Ne contemplava la possibilità di coglierla in quell’istante preciso del giorno, alla fine dell’Ottocento.
E nascevano le sue armonie: grigia, bianca, blu… A seconda del cielo che ne illuminava la facciata. Lasciando al mondo una sinfonia di vibrazioni di cui ritroviamo l’eco in quella pittura sensibile di Sara Pistilli (nata a Torre del greco, allieva all’Accadenia di Belle Arti di Napoli del maestro/gentiluomo Armando De Stefano) che ci presenta da domani all’associazione culturale movimento Aperto di via Duomo 290/C (Napoli) guidata da Ilia Tufano.
Imagine è il titolo che avverte il pubblico: Immagina … E viene subito da pensare all’iconica canzone scritta dal più celebre del mitico quartetto britannico, John Lennon. Immagina non ci sia il Paradiso/
è facile se ci provi/ Nessun inferno sotto di noi/ Sopra di noi solo il Cielo
Immagina che la gente/ viva per il presente…
Imagine, immagina: Pistilli dipinge carezze cromatiche che fanno intuire la realtà e le persone intorno a lei. Impressioni luminose che declinano il mondo come le appare. Tracce di vissuto, pensieri di umanità abbozzata, sfumature che rispecchiano l’anima.
Imagine, immagina: immagina un mondo senza possessi/mi chiedo se ci riesci/senza necessità di avidità o fame/Una fratellanza di uomini/Immagina che la gente/ possa condividere il mondo intero… E torna ad ammaliarci il suono della poesia di John.
Il potere dell’immaginazione è immenso, guida la mano di Sara e la porta sulle vette del sogno, intenta a riflettere sulla vita immersa nella pittura. Di cui ci offre un assaggio in questa bella esposizione: dieci dipinti di varie dimensioni, oli o acrilici e anche tecnica mista su tela. Giovani donne, adolescenti e addirittura pensose bambine intrecciati a paesaggi del cuore,
La mostra s’inaugura giovedì 6 marzo dalle 17 alle 20 e resterà aperta fino a venerdì 27 marzo , i lunedì e i martedì dalle 17,00 alle 19,00 e i giovedì dalle 10,30 alle 12,30. La accompagna un testo a cura di Rosario Pinto.
Movimento aperto/ ‘Imagine’: Sara Pistilli paints glimpses of reality and vibrations of the soul
Every day I add and discover something I had not seen before. This is how Claude Monet explained his variations on a single theme, in this case the cathedral of Rouen in Normandy.
He studied its light when his vision was severely impaired by a bilateral cataract, which affected his perception of colour. He thought about capturing it at that precise moment of the day, at the end of the 19th century.
And his harmonies were born: grey, white, blue… Depending on the sky that illuminated its façade. It has left the world a symphony of vibrations whose echoes we find in the sensitive painting of Sara Pistilli (born in Torre del Greco, student at the Accadenia di Belle Arti in Naples of the master/gentleman Armando De Stefano), who will present it from tomorrow at the cultural association Movimento Aperto, in via Duomo 290/C (Naples), directed by Ilia Tufano.
Imagine is the title that warns the public: Imagine… And one immediately thinks of the iconic song written by the most famous of the legendary British quartet, John Lennon. Imagine there’s no heaven/It’s easy /if you try/No hell below us/ Above us only sky/Imagine all the people living for today.
Imagine, imagine: Pistilli paints chromatic tenderness that hints at reality and the people around her. Luminous impressions that show the world as it appears to her. Traces of experience, thoughts of sketched humanity, nuances that reflect the soul.
Imagine no possessions/I wonder if you can/No need for greed or hunger/ A brotherhood of man/Imagine all the people sharing all the world. And the sound of John’s poetry returns to enchant us.
The power of the imagination is huge and guides Sara’s hand, taking her to the heights of dreams, intent on reflecting on life immersed in painting. She offers us a glimpse of this in this beautiful exhibition: ten paintings of different sizes, in oil or acrylic and also mixed techniques on canvas. Young women, teenagers and even pensive little girls, interwoven with landscapes of the heart.
The exhibition is opening on Thursday the 6th of March from 5pm to 8pm and will be open until Friday the 27th of March, Mondays and Tuesdays from 5pm to 7pm and Thursdays from 10.30am to 12.30pm. It is accompanied by a text edited by Rosario Pinto.
