Con il supporto del Comune di Succivo e della Fondazione per il sud torna uno degli appuntamenti più originali ed esclusivi dell’intera Regione Campania. L’Atella Sound Circus è un festival della musica e artisti di strada che si svolgerà il 23, 24 e 25 giugno nell’incantevole Casale di Teverolaccio di Succivo (Caserta), via XXIV Maggio dalle 18 con ingresso gratuito.
Il festival è organizzato dall’Associazione Artenova che propone un programma con molteplici eventi che si terranno in una tre giorni che si preannuncia intensa: musica dal vivo, giocoleria e arte circense ma anche stand gastronomici, ancora una volta a cura di TerrAntica con prodotti tipici. Da sottolineare le tante attività didattiche e formative per i più piccoli come quella promossa dall’associazione “Un cavallo per amico”. Importante è il legame con le associazioni del territorio come l’Arci Caserta e Spaccio Culturale, che danno il loro supporto organizzativo.
L’Atella Sound Circus si presenta come un’occasione unica per immergersi nell’atmosfera ludica e coinvolgente di un programma ricco di sorprese ed emozioni. Dieci gli artisti di strada selezionati, provenienti dal Cile, Italia, Germania, Argentina e Iran, che stupiranno il pubblico con spettacoli di arte circense che incanteranno bambini, bambine e famiglie, offrendo un’esperienza straordinaria di divertimento e meraviglia.
L’arte del busking, così nobile e affascinante, sarà protagonista assoluta durante l’evento. Sarà un’opportunità perfetta per socializzare e scoprire l’arte straordinaria che si cela dietro le performance degli artisti di strada. Gli spettatori potranno vivere appieno la magia di questo mondo affascinante, lasciandosi coinvolgere dalle abilità e dalla creatività dei buskers.
Mentre il programma dei concerti dell’Atella Sound Circus metterà in mostra alcuni dei nomi più interessanti del panorama musicale contemporaneo: venerdì 23 giugno ci sarà il concerto-performance de Il Tesoro di San Gennaro, duo napoletano che esegue un rituale mistico tra canzoni della tradizione classica, il rock e l’elettronica più moderna. A seguire il dj set elettro-rock di Irene Ferrara.
Sabato 24 giugno è la volta dei romani Veeblefetzer capitanati dal cantante Andrea “Mondo Cane” Cota. Un’attitudine musicale globalista e fuori dagli schemi che unisce echi di musica dub jamaicano e sprazzi di puro rock’n’roll, musica da funerale a New Orleans e un matrimonio gypsy nelle campagne di Sarajevo. Le chitarre in bilico tra reggae e manouche si mescolano al calore dei fiati su un marchingegno ritmico fatto di tamburi e macchina da scrivere.
Ad animare la giornata sarà anche la rinomata street band napoletana Banda Basaglia che si esibirà creando un’atmosfera festosa con il loro coinvolgente repertorio non strettamente bandistico ma che spazia dalla canzone napoletana antica, al pop, al reggae, allo ska.
A chiudere la seconda serata ci penserà Dj Groom aka Joseph Martone artista italo-americano che si esibirà in un dj set di musica cumbia, afrobeat e funk soul; domenica 25 giugno si concluderà con la travolgente musica gitana del progetto Eusebio Martinelli Gipsy Orkestar e il duo Iconoclastic.

Succivo/ Atella Sound Circus: Street performers will enchant the audience between fun and amazement
With the support of the Succivo Municipality and the Fondazione per il Sud, one of the most original and exclusive events in the entire Campania Region is back. The Atella Sound Circus is a festival of music and street artists that will take place on 23, 24 and 25 June at the enchanting Casale di Teverolaccio di Succivo (Ce), via XXIV Maggio from 6 p.m. with free admission.
The festival is organised by the Artenova Association, which proposes a programme with multiple events that will take place over three days that promises to be intense: live music, juggling and circus art, but also gastronomic stands, once again organised by TerrAntica with typical products. Of particular note are the many educational and training activities for children, such as the one promoted by the association “Un cavallo per amico” (A horse for a friend). Important is the link with local associations such as Arci Caserta and Spaccio Culturale, which provide organisational support.
The Atella Sound Circus presents itself as a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the playful and engaging atmosphere of a programme full of surprises and emotions. Ten selected street performers from Chile, Italy, Germany, Argentina and Iran will amaze the audience with circus art shows that will enchant children, children and families, offering an extraordinary experience of fun and wonder.
The art of busking, so noble and fascinating, will take centre stage during the event. It will be a perfect opportunity to socialise and discover the extraordinary art behind the performances of street artists. Spectators will be able to fully experience the magic of this fascinating world, getting involved with the skills and creativity of the buskers.
While the Atella Sound Circus concert programme will showcase some of the most interesting names on the contemporary music scene: Friday 23 June will feature a concert-performance by Il Tesoro di San Gennaro, a Neapolitan duo that performs a mystical ritual between traditional classical songs, rock, and the most modern electronics. This will be followed by the electro-rock dj set by Irene Ferrara; Saturday 24 June is the turn of the Romans Veeblefetzer led by singer Andrea ‘Mondo Cane’ Cota. A globalist and unconventional musical attitude that combines echoes of Jamaican dub music and flashes of pure rock’n’roll, funeral music in New Orleans and a gypsy wedding in rural Sarajevo. Guitars poised between reggae and manouche mix with the warmth of horns over a rhythmic contraption of drums and typewriter.
Also livening up the day will be the renowned Neapolitan street band Banda Basaglia, that will perform, creating a festive atmosphere with their enthralling repertoire that is not strictly band-based but ranges from ancient Neapolitan song to pop, reggae and ska.
Closing the second evening will be Dj Groom aka Joseph Martone, an Italian-American artist who will perform a dj set of cumbia, afrobeat and funk soul music. Sunday 25 June will end with the overwhelming gypsy music of the Eusebio Martinelli Gipsy Orkestar project and the Iconoclastic duo.
