“Back to the style”, un appuntamento per vivere e conoscere il mondo dei graffiti e della cultura hip hop (foto). Cinquanta artisti del panorama internazionale e locale, fino a domenica 18 giugno, nel Parco Totò di Bagnoli daranno vita a una staffetta di performance musicali ed artistiche ( l’ingresso è gratuito).
Alla sua dodicesima edizione, la manifestazione, organizzata in collaborazione con “PalomArt”, network internazionale di arte indipendente, è l’occasione giusta per immergersi nel mondo Hip Hop a tutto tondo, che quest’anno celebra 50 anni.
Un contenitore di cultura, accessibile a un pubblico eterogeneo, che mette in collegamento epoche passate con generazioni presenti. La kermesse è iniziata (ingresso parco) stamattina con varie attività e laboratori dedicati ai bambini.
Oggi sabato 17, dalle 16.00, dj Opium, viaggio nella musica black & break a 360° rigorosamente in formato 7’’. A seguire la battle di RAP a cura di Oyoshe rapper partenopeo, sostenuto per l’occasione da Drimer, giuria nazionale, cui sarà affidato il compito di premiare il migliore rapper della giornata.
A chiudere, i vinili di Kornelia, Ladies on the Records, (Polonia\Turchia) ospite internazionale di PalomArt, con un set mozzafiato che esplorerà la musica femminile degli anni ’60 ’70 e ’80 con tanti capolavori, rarità mediorientali e africane, e pezzi unici del genere “global groove”.
Domenica dalle 16.00, a salire in consolle (negli spazi del parco Totò) Ciccio Sciò che proporrà una selezione di vinili funky, reggae, ska, roots. A seguire, la spettacolare battle di breakdance a cura di Tck Movement, con la selezione musicale affidata a Breakstarr e in giuria la partecipazione special della storica crew napoletana “Double B Rockers”.
Si termina con la selezione musicale dj Uncino, storico dj napoletano. Ad arricchire l’evento anche le performance dell’associazione Disintegrati e Cuore di Napoli.

Bagnoli/ Parco Totò, “Back to the style” with 50 artists together passionately. Between graffiti and hip hop culture
“Back to the style,” an event to experience and learn about the world of graffiti and Hip Hop culture. Fifty artists from the international and local scene, until Sunday, June 18, in Totò Park in Bagnoli will give life to a relay of musical and artistic performances ( admission is free).
In its twelfth edition, the show, organized in collaboration with “PalomArt,” an international network of independent art, is the right opportunity to immerse oneself in the all-round Hip Hop world, which celebrates 50 years this year.
A container of culture, accessible to a mixed audience, connecting past eras with present generations. The festival began (park entrance) this morning with various activities and workshops dedicated to children.
Today Saturday, 17, from 4 p.m., DJ Opium will take us on a journey through black & break music at 360° strictly in 7” format. Followed by the RAP battle by Neapolitan rapper Oyoshe, supported for the occasion by Drimer, a national jury, who will be entrusted with the task of awarding the best rapper of the day.
To close, the vinyls of Kornelia, Ladies on the Records, (Poland\Turkey) PalomArt’s international guest, with a breathtaking set that will explore women’s music of the 1960s ’70s and ’80s with many masterpieces, Middle Eastern and African rarities, and unique pieces of the “global groove” genre.
Sunday from 4 p.m., to take the console (in the Totò Park spaces) will be Ciccio Sciò who will offer a selection of funky, reggae, ska, roots vinyl. This will be followed by the spectacular breakdance battle organized by Tck Movement, with the musical selection entrusted to Breakstarr and in the jury the special participation of the historic Neapolitan crew “Double B Rockers.”
It ends with the music selection by DJ Uncino, a historic Neapolitan DJ. Also enriching the event are performances by the association Disintegrati and Cuore di Napoli.
Back to the Style is a project of Bereshit APS Association, already included in the June Youth 2023 program, under the Patronage of the City of Naples, 10th Municipality.
