Napoli dei contrasti. C’è una città figlia della luce, un’altra “dimenticata”, che si nasconde nelle pieghe e nelle ombre dei suoi vicoli. Questa, quella degli ultimi, degli umili, degli emarginati l’ha raccontata Valerio Bruner nel suo album, “Vicarìa”.
Domani, giovedì 12 ottobre, alle 16, nella Biblioteca Nazionale di Napoli l’autore presenterà il suo progetto artistico con la direttrice Maria Iannotti, la filosofa Ester Basile , giovani artisti e performer, che introdurranno il pubblico in un’atmosfera di sonorità frementi ed appassionate che richiamano la storia e le tradizioni della città.
Letture di poesie e interventi musicali e teatrali (a cura di Angela Rosa D’ Auria), descriveranno la genesi e le storie che hanno ispirato “Vicarìa” , cui si affiancheranno alcune fotografie di Sofia Scuotto che immortalano i luoghi di Vicarìa e infine l’esposizione della tela originale realizzata da Antonio Conte artista popolare che è diventata la copertina dell’album, video riprese Maria Rosaria Rubilotta .
Dalle viscere magmatiche della città Valerio Bruner, artista autentico e sensibile, attinge ispirazione, stimoli e impulsi, traducendoli con passione, studio e ricerca stilistica, in sonorità ed espressioni attuali, contemporanee ; “Vicarìa” contiene dieci tracce vibranti, tra echi di Gragnaniello e storie di profonda umanità .
La produzione è stata affidata al musicista rock Alessandro Liccardo che incornicia le composizioni in un template sonoro internazionale, un meticcio tra rock, folk e blues che da anni non si ascoltava nelle produzioni nate a Napoli.
Naples of contrasts. There is a city daughter of light, another “forgotten”, hidden in the folds and shadows of its streets. This one, that of the last, the humble, the marginalized, has told Valerio Bruner in his album “Vicarìa”.
Tomorrow, Thursday, October 12th, at 4 p.m., at the National Library of Naples, the author will present his artistic project together with the director Maria Iannotti, the philosopher Ester Basile and young artists and performers, who will immerse the audience in an atmosphere of trembling and passionate sounds that recall the history and traditions of the city.
Poetry readings and musical and theatrical interventions (curated by Angela Rosa D’ Auria) will describe the genesis and the stories that inspired “Vicarìa”, which will be flanked by some photographs by Sofia Scuotto that immortalize the places of Vicarìa, and finally the exhibition of the original canvas made by popular artist Antonio Conte that became the album cover, video footage Maria Rosaria Rubilotta.
From the magmatic depths of the city, Valerio Bruner, an authentic and sensitive artist, draws inspiration, stimulation and impulses, translating them with passion, study and stylistic research, into current, contemporary sounds and expressions; “Vicarìa” contains ten vibrant tracks, between echoes of Gragnaniello and stories of deep humanity.
The production is by rock musician Alessandro Liccardo, who frames the compositions in an international sound template, a mixture of rock, folk and blues that has not been heard in Naples productions for years.
