Con oltre 35 mila visitatori chiude stasera la seconda edizione del Campania Libri Festival al Palazzo Reale di Napoli. Circa 200 le iniziative per la manifestazione finanziata dalla Regione Campania e organizzata dalla Fondazione Campania dei Festival, presieduta da Alessandro Barbano e diretta da Ruggero Cappuccio, la rassegna letteraria, che ha coinvolto anche quest’anno nomi di autori/rici e case editrici nazionali e internazionali
Le sale del Festival sono state ribattezzate per l’occasione secondo i nomi delle “Lezioni americane” di Calvino, al quale questa edizione è stata dedicata. Più di 15mila, invece, quelli che si sono prenotati agli incontri attraverso il sito campanialibrifestival.it.
Commenta Massimo Adinolfi, curatore della rassegna: «Ho visto cose che gli umani hanno già visto altrove, ma che qui a Napoli non si vedevano da un bel po’. Per i libri, per la letteratura: ho visto una folla colorata e divertita, lettori e editori soddisfatti, capannelli di curiosi affacciarsi nelle splendide sale di Palazzo Reale: una vera festa, insomma. L’anno scorso dicemmo buona la prima; quest’anno possiamo dire: più buona ancora la seconda. Ci sarà una terza, e sarà ancora migliore, grazie al concorso di tutti: dei cittadini, dell’intera regione, della rete di collaborazioni avviate e del fondamentale sostegno delle istituzioni».

Campania Libri Festival / In 35,000 at the Royal Palace to celebrate the printed word
With more than 35 thousand visitors, the second edition of the Campania Libri Festival at the Royal Palace in Naples closes this evening. Commented Massimo Adinolfi, curator of the festival, “I saw things that humans have already seen elsewhere, but that here in Naples had not been seen for quite a while. For books, for literature: I saw a colorful and amused crowd, satisfied readers and publishers, sheds of curious people looking out into the splendid halls of the Royal Palace: a real party, in short. Last year we said good the first; this year we can say: even better the second. There will be a third one, and it will be even better, thanks to the contribution of everyone: of the citizens, of the entire region, of the network of collaborations started and of the fundamental support of the institutions.”
