Stupidorisiko. Una geografia di guerra. Sarà lunedì 5 febbraio al TK di Castellammare di Stabia, martedì 6 febbraio al Teatro dei Piccoli di Napoli, mercoledì 7 febbraio al Ghirelli di Salerno oltre alle repliche diurne (ore 11), nelle stesse date, per le scuole lo spettacolo prodotto da Emergency Ong Onlus.
L’iniziativa è ospitata all’interno della rassegna per le nuove generazioni Young a cura di Casa del Contemporaneo e Le Nuvole.
Interpretato da Francesco Grossi (foto) con la regia e drammaturgia di Patrizia Pasqui, lo spettacolo – selezionato all’interno della XIV edizione di Tramedautore, Festival internazionale della nuova drammaturgia – è una critica ragionata e al contempo ironica della guerra.
Consigliato a partire dai 13 anni, racconta in forma semplice e chiara alcuni aspetti e avvenimenti della guerra e della sua tragicità, spesso dimenticati o ignorati, dando voce alle vittime e mostrando la guerra in tutta la sua stupidità.
Partendo dalla prima guerra mondiale e passando per la tragedia della seconda, la storia narrata arriva fino alle guerre dei giorni nostri. In 75 minuti si susseguono in modo cronologico episodi storicamente documentati e rappresentativi della guerra, intervallati dalla storia di un marine, che parla toscano e che rappresenta il soldato di oggi.
Nato dall’idea di diffondere e promuovere i valori della pace e della tolleranza, lo spettacolo denuncia l’inutilità e il dramma della guerra in ogni sua forma, diventando strumento di divulgazione e valorizzazione del lavoro di Emergency.
Conclude Morena Pauro, curatrice artistica di Young: «Ospitiamo da diversi anni oramai le produzioni del Teatro di Emergency non solo per la loro qualità artistica ma anche perché offrono un’occasione determinante per il nostro pubblico di ragazzi e scuole di conoscere dal vivo il lavoro della Ong nel Mondo ma anche in Italia, in territori anche molto vicini alla loro quotidianità per avviare un confronto costruttivo sulle azioni concrete cui ciascuno può contribuire».

Casa del contemporaneo/ Emergency tells youngsters about the stupidity of war
Stupidorisiko. A geography of war. It will be on Monday, February 5th at the TK in Castellammare di Stabia, on Tuesday, February 6th at the Teatro dei Piccoli in Naples, and on Wednesday, February 7th at the Ghirelli in Salerno in addition to daytime performances (11 a.m.), on the same dates, for schools the show produced by Emergency Ong Onlus.
The initiative is hosted within the review for the new generations Young curated by Casa del Contemporaneo and Le Nuvole.
Performed by Francesco Grossi, with direction and dramaturgy by Patrizia Pasqui, the show – selected within the 14th edition of Tramedautore, International Festival of new dramaturgy – is a reasoned and at the same time ironic critique of war.
Recommended for ages 13 and up, it tells in a simple and clear form some aspects and events of war and its tragic nature, often forgotten or ignored, giving voice to the victims and showing war in all its stupidity.
Starting from the first world war and passing through the tragedy of the second, the narrated story reaches the wars of the present day. In 75 minutes, historically documented and representative episodes of the war follow one another chronologically, interspersed by the story of a Marine, who speaks Tuscan and represents the soldier of today.
Born from the idea of spreading and promoting the values of peace and tolerance, the show denounces the futility and drama of war in all its forms, becoming an instrument of dissemination and enhancement of Emergency’s work.
Concludes Morena Pauro, Young’s artistic curator: “We have been hosting Emergency’s theater productions for several years now, not only for their artistic quality but also because they offer a decisive opportunity for our audience of children and schools to get to know live the work of the ngos in the World but also in Italy, in territories also very close to their daily lives to start a constructive confrontation on concrete actions to which each one can contribute.”
