Capri cromie è la mostra che si inaugura sabato 29 luglio alle 19 al Centro Caprense Ignazio Cerio, ingresso libero. Il percorso espositivo propone la recente ricerca fotografica dell’artista fotografo Francesco Soranno.
Una serie di immagini dedicate all’isola azzurra, raccolte per diversi mesi, in più stagioni, tutte fortemente animate da luci e colori mutevoli e sorprendenti
Spiega l’autore: «Questo particolare e singolare lavoro è stato concepito “per caso”, durante i lunghi e drammatici giorni della pandemia del 2020, allorché si era costretti a rimanere chiusi in casa per molti giorni; fu proprio in uno di quei giorni che una mattina osservai in lontananza un meraviglioso spettacolo della natura: sull’isola di Capri, avvolta nella luce chiara e trasparente del mattino, sfilavano lente alcune nubi verticali in strane forme fluttuanti, persino eleganti, mai viste prima, fu allora che concepii il lavoro “Capri cromie”, basato sulla particolare forma di questa isola che emerge con serena eleganza dal mare, forma che di volta in volta, assume colorazioni e tinte diverse, cangianti, fluttuanti».
Così Capri diventa emblema assoluto di Bellezza. da preservare a ogni costo. La mostra può essere visitata martedì e mercoledì dalle 11 alle 16 e | da giovedì a sabato (11- 15).

Capri cromie is the exhibition opening Saturday, July 29 at 7 p.m. at the Ignazio Cerio Caprense Center, free admission. The exhibition presents the recent photographic research of artist photographer Francesco Soranno.
A series of images dedicated to the blue island, collected over several months, in several seasons, all strongly animated by changing and surprising lights and colors
The author explains, “This particular and singular work was conceived “by chance,” during the long and dramatic days of the 2020 pandemic, when people were forced to stay indoors for many days; it was on one of those days that one morning I observed in the distance a wonderful spectacle of nature: on the island of Capri, shrouded in the clear, transparent morning light, some vertical clouds were slowly parading in strange, even elegant, floating shapes, never seen before.It was then that I conceived the work “Capri cromie,” based on the particular shape of this island that emerges with serene elegance from the sea, a shape that from time to time, takes on different, iridescent, fluctuating colors and hues.”
So Capri becomes an absolute emblem of Beauty. to be preserved at all costs. The exhibition can be visited Tuesday (11-16) and Wednesday
