Sergio Assisi inaugura la quattordicesima edizione di “Segreti d’autore”, festival ideato da Ruggero Cappuccio e diretto da Nadia Baldi, dedicato ad ambiente, scienze, arti e legalità.
L’attore e regista napoletano, accompagnato dalla direttrice artistica, dialogherà domani alle 21 con il pubblico e racconterà i suoi “segreti d’autore” a Palazzo Coppola di Valle-Sessa Cilento (Salerno). A seguire sarà proiettato “Il mio regno per una farfalla”, il film scritto, diretto e interpretato dall’attore e regista napoletano.
Sasà è un nobile decaduto, figlio illegittimo del barone Belladonna. Nato e cresciuto sull’isola di Ischia, si vanta di esserne il re, e ha eletto a sua reggia la suite di uno storico albergo fondato dal padre. Con i suoi occhioni dolci e la sua faccia da schiaffi, Sasà seduce a suo modo un po’ tutti. Dal tavolino del bar in piazzetta, che ha istituito a suo ufficio, dietro “libere” donazioni elargisce fantasiosi consigli.
Donnaiolo impenitente, bugiardo incallito senza il becco di un quattrino, un maestro di improvvisazione, dotato di una simpatia irresistibile e di una dialettica scespiriana tale da riuscire sempre a volgere le situazioni in suo favore.
Tanti, e ciascuno con le proprie caratteristiche, i personaggi che ruotano attorno a lui: un amico fedele e compagno di avventure che noleggia il suo gozzo per i turisti, uno strampalato avvocato, una fidanzata che, sostenuta da una madre risoluta, vuole assolutamente sposarlo, una direttrice d’albergo che proprio non lo sopporta, un parroco non convenzionale, una zia che vuole privarlo di tutto. E l’amore vero, che arriva all’improvviso a destabilizzare il suo regno.
Con lui ci saranno Federica De Benedittis, Giuseppe Cantore, Tosca D’Aquino, Barbara Foria, Anna Tangredi, Gianni Ferreri, Magdalena Grochowska, Armando Pugliese, Benedetto Casillo, Nunzia Schiano e Giobbe Covatta.
Sabato 31 agosto, alle 20, nello stesso luogo, un ricordo di Attilio Bonadies, attore e docente salernitano scomparso nel mese di giugno: verrà proiettato il cortometraggio “La terra dipinta”, l’omaggio ad Alfonso Gatto che Attilio Bonadies realizzò con i suoi alunni del liceo artistico “Sabatini “di Salerno. Un “viaggio nella memoria azzurra di un poeta di mare” che testimonia una volta di più la passione, la generosità e l’amore per l’arte di una figura fondamentale nel panorama culturale del territorio.

Sergio Assisi opens the 14th edition of “Secrets of the Author”, a festival conceived by Ruggero Cappuccio and directed by Nadia Baldi, dedicated to the environment, science, art and legality.
The Neapolitan actor and director, accompanied by the artistic director, will speak to the public tomorrow at 9 p.m. at Palazzo Coppola in Valle-Sessa Cilento (Salerno) and will share his “Secrets of the Author”. The event will be followed by a screening of “My Kingdom for a Butterfly”, the film written, directed and performed by the Neapolitan actor and director.
Sasà is a fallen nobleman, the illegitimate son of Baron Belladonna. Born and raised on the island of Ischia, he boasts of being its king and has chosen as his palace the suite of a historic hotel founded by his father. With his big, sweet eyes and slap-happy face, Sasà seduces a little of everyone who crosses his path. From the small table of the bar in the piazza, which he has set up as his office, he offers imaginative advice in exchange for “free” donations.
An unrepentant womanizer, an inveterate liar without a penny to his name, a master of improvisation, endowed with an irresistible likability and a Shakespearean dialectic, he always manages to turn situations in his favor.
A loyal friend and fellow adventurer who rents out his gozzo to tourists, a crazy lawyer, a girlfriend who desperately wants to marry him and is supported by a stubborn mother, a hotel manager who can’t stand him, an unconventional priest, an aunt who wants to take everything away from him. And true love, which suddenly arrives to destabilize his rule.
The cast includes Federica De Benedittis, Giuseppe Cantore, Tosca D’Aquino, Barbara Foria, Anna Tangredi, Gianni Ferreri, Magdalena Grochowska, Armando Pugliese, Benedetto Casillo, Nunzia Schiano and Giobbe Covatta.
On Saturday, August 31st, at 8 p.m., in the same place, a tribute will be paid to Attilio Bonadies, the actor and teacher from Salerno who died in June: the short film “La terra dipinta”, a homage to Alfonso Gatto, made by Attilio Bonadies with his students from the “Sabatini” Art High School in Salerno, will be shown. A “journey into the blue memory of a poet of the sea” that once again testifies to the passion, generosity and love for art of a key figure in the cultural landscape of the area.
