Musica, arte e spiritualità. Sono i tre ingredienti del festival organistico che si svolgerà dal 26 aprile al primo giugno in Campania e, più precisamente, a Alvignano, Vairano Scalo, Pietramelara, Castel Campagnano e Sepicciano di Piedimonte Matese.
Un festival nel segno dei suono che invita all’armonia, perché , come suggeriva il poeta, scrittore e giornalista statunitense Walt Whitman,
la musica è l’unificatrice – niente di più spirituale, niente di più sensuale, una divinità, eppure completamente umana – che avanza, prevale, occupa il posto più alto; capace di dare, in certe contingenze e campi, ciò che null’altro saprebbe dare.
Si comincia domani, sabato 26 aprile: Alvignano, nel Santuario dell’Addolorata, ospiterà il concerto di Nicola Salvati (foto), dedicato proprio a Papa Francesco e al suo inesauribile messaggio di pace.
Domenica 27 aprile nella chiesa dei SS. Cosma e Damiano di Vairano Scalo si esibirà Maria Teresa Roncone. A maggio l’itinerario prosegue nella chiesa di S. Maria ad Nives di Castel Campagnano con Vincenzo Florio (sabato 3) e di Andreana Pilotti, (sabato 17), nella chiesa di S. Rocco di Pietramelara con Vincenzo Di Ianni (domenica 4 ) e Sossio Capasso (domenica 18), nella chiesa dei SS. Cosma e Damiano con Alessio Colasurdo (domenica 11) e Michele D’Agostino (domenica 25), nel santuario dell’Addolorata con Giuseppe Rigliaco (Sabato 24) e nella chiesa dei SS. Marcello & Michele con il concerto del duo di sax e organo Alfredo De Francesco e Andreana Pilotti.
Il Festival è sostenuto dal ministero della cultura e dalla Regione Campania, è patrocinato dai Comuni di Alvignano, Vairano Patenora, Alvignano e Piedimonte Matese e si avvale della collaborazione delle Autorità Religiose delle chiese sedi dei concerti e dell’Archeo Club di Alvignano. – Tutti i concerti inizieranno alle ore 20 e l’ingresso è libero.

Organ Festival / Music, art and spirituality: concerts in Campania that invite to peace (April 26 – June 1). The first one is dedicated to Pope Francis
Music, art and spirituality. These are the three ingredients of the Organ Festival that will take place in Campania from April the 26th to June the 1st, in Alvignano, Vairano Scalo, Pietramelara, Castel Campagnano and Sepicciano di Piedimonte Matese.
A festival in the sign of the sound that invites to harmony, because, as the American poet, writer and journalist Walt Whitman said, music is the unifier – nothing more spiritual, nothing more sensual, a divinity but completely human – that advances, prevails, occupies the highest place; capable of giving, in certain contingencies and fields, what nothing else could give.
On Sunday, April the 27th, Maria Teresa Roncone will perform in the church of SS. Cosma e Damiano in Vairano Scalo. In May the itinerary continues in the church of S. Maria ad Nives in Castel Campagnano with Vincenzo Florio (Saturday the 3rd) and Andreana Pilotti (Saturday the 17th), in the church of S. Rocco in Pietramelara with Vincenzo Di Ianni (Sunday the 4th) and Sossio Capasso (Sunday the 18th), in the church of SS. Cosma and Damiano with Alessio Colasurdo (Sunday the 11th) and Michele D’Agostino (Sunday the 25th), in the Shrine of the Addolorata with Giuseppe Rigliaco (Saturday the 24th) and in the Church of SS. Marcello & Michele with a concert by the saxophone and organ duo Alfredo De Francesco and Andreana Pilotti.
The festival is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Campania Region, by the Municipalities of Alvignano, Vairano Patenora, Alvignano and Piedimonte Matese, with the collaboration of the Religious Authorities of the churches where the concerts will take place and the Archeo Club of Alvignano. All concerts begin at 8 p.m. and admission is free.
