Discrepanza e Lacrima partenopea. La creatività vincitrice del quinto concorso La Bulla in mostra passa per questi due titoli che propongono le opere della vincitrice del primo anno Tatiana Angeletti e del giovano orafo che ha conquistato il podio tra i/le partecipanti del secondo anno Juan Camilo Carannante (entrambi nelle foto).
Discrepanza è un girocollo in argento che mette a fuoco l’emergenza climatica e la necessità di un cambiamento nei confronti dell’ambiente, ispirato a rispetto e conservazione. Il design, infatti, asimmetrico e audace, con la scelta di una superfice martellata, richiama l’attenzione sull’equilibrio precario del nostro ecosistema.
Lacrima partenopea è un collier elegante e sinuoso, impreziosito da un’acquamarina dai riflessi azzurri, richiamo al mare di Napoli. Al centro, lo sguardo è ammaliato dal Vesuvio, simbolo dei paradossi cittadini, tra leggenda e angoscia.
La premiazione si è svolta durante nella sede della scuola orafa in via Duca di San Donato, a pochi passi dalla chiesa di S. Eligio e da Piazza Mercato: durante la serata, sono state esposte le opere di chi ha partecipato ai corsi professionali in oreficeria, indossate in foto (esposte accanto ai rispettivi oggetti) scattate da operatori volontari di Servizio Civile Digitale attivi nel polo orafo la Bulla.
Le creazioni sono state valutate da una commissione presieduta da Mario Zaccaria (coordinatore anche dell’evento). presidente USSI Campania, e composta da Lucia Fortini, assessora regionale a scuola e politiche giovanili; Matilde Andolfo, giornalista; Lorenzo Iorio assessore attività produttiva della II Municipalità; Antonella Ciaramella, capostaff formazione professionale Regione Campania; Maurizio Marinella, imprenditore; Giovanna Scala, dirigente dell’Istituto Isabella D’Este; Gabriella Talamo, dirigente di Istituto comprensivo Piscicelli-Miuri; dottoressa Diana Corcione.
Le opere sono state ideate e realizzate in fase di progettazione e realizzazione con il supporto e la supervisione dei maestri Salvatore Garofalo e Michele Garofalo, dalla direttrice Ilaria Mainini (Progettazione Cad) e dalle docenti Rosaria Garofalo (Disegno tecnico-artistico), Carmen Esposito (Gemmologia) e Rosaria Pia Teofrasto (Assistente laboratorio orafo).
Sponsor della manifestazione, l’azienda F.lli Dinacci, celebre nel settore dei saggi e dei metalli preziosi e punto di riferimento nella vendita di semilavorati e montature per gioielleria.
Allieve e allievi hanno ottenuto l’attestato di partecipazione mentre i primi classificati hanno ricevuto zaffiri naturali di diverse forme e misure per un totale di 2 carati (a ciascuno/a).
Il polo orafo La Bulla è gestito dal Consorzio Antico Borgo Orefici, promotore e finanziatore di questa iniziativa grazie al supporto del Presidente Roberto de Laurentiis, lo staff della Bulla ed il consiglio composto da artigiani ed imprenditori quali, Alfonso Presta, Gerardo Marchetiello, Cristina d’Angelo Monti, Antonio Canzano, Alessandro Sarracino e Cosimo Caruso.
Nella struttura ci sono le aule e i laboratori destinati alla formazione professionale in oreficeria: la Bulla è ente accreditato dalla Regione Campania, nato per formare professionalmente giovani allieve e allievi e favorire nuova occupazione grazie al collegamento con alcune tra le maggiori aziende del gioiello.
La sede propone, inoltre, inoltre il percorso museale MOArt – Museo Orafo e Artigianato con manufatti, macchinari e luoghi di lavoro d’epoca.

The Bulla on display/ Young goldsmiths grow up: Tatiana Angeletti and Juan Camilo Carannante are the winners. The prize goes to “Discrepanza” and “Lacrima partenopea”
Discrepancy and Neapolitan tear. The winning creativity of the fifth edition of the La Bulla competition is represented by these two titles, which feature the works of the first year winner, Tatiana Angeletti, and the young goldsmith who reached the top of the podium among the second year participants, Juan Camilo Carannante (both in the photo).
Discrepancy is a silver necklace that focuses on the climate emergency and the need for change towards the environment, inspired by respect and conservation. In fact, the design, asymmetrical and audacious, with the choice of a hammered surface, highlights the precarious balance of our ecosystem.
Neapolitan tear is an elegant and sinuous collier adorned by an aquamarine with blue reflections, evoking the sea of Naples. In the center, the gaze is captured by Mount Vesuvius, a symbol of the city’s paradoxes, between legend and anguish.

The creations were evaluated by a committee chaired by Mario Zaccaria (also coordinator of the event). President of USSI Campania and composed of Lucia Fortini, Regional Councillor for School and Youth Policies; Matilde Andolfo, journalist; Lorenzo Iorio, Councillor for Productive Activities of the II Municipality; Antonella Ciaramella, Head of Professional Training of the Campania Region; Maurizio Marinella, entrepreneur; Giovanna Scala, Principal of the Isabella D’Este Institute; Gabriella Talamo, Principal of the Piscicelli-Miuri Comprehensive Institute; and Dr. Diana Corcione.
The works were conceived and realized in the design and realization phase with the support and supervision of Masters Salvatore Garofalo and Michele Garofalo, Director Ilaria Mainini (cad design) and teachers Rosaria Garofalo (technical-artistic drawing), Carmen Esposito (gemmology) and Rosaria Pia Teofrasto (goldsmith laboratory assistant).
The event was sponsored by the company F.lli Dinacci, famous in the field of precious metals testing and a reference point in the sale of semi-finished products and settings for jewelry.
The students received certificates of participation, while each of the winners was awarded natural sapphires of various shapes and sizes, with a total weight of 2 carats.
La Bulla is run by the Consorzio Antico Borgo Orefici, the promoter and sponsor of this initiative, thanks to the support of President Roberto de Laurentiis, the Bulla staff and the Board of Directors, made up of artisans and entrepreneurs such as Alfonso Presta, Gerardo Marchetiello, Cristina d’Angelo Monti, Antonio Canzano, Alessandro Sarracino and Cosimo Caruso.
The facility is equipped with classrooms and laboratories for professional training in goldsmithing: the Bulla is an institution accredited by the Campania Region, created for the professional training of young students and for the creation of new jobs thanks to its links with some of the most important jewelry companies.
In addition, the venue also offers the MOArt – Museum of Goldsmithing and Craftsmanship itinerary, with historical artifacts, machinery and workplaces.
