Mentre c’è un’Italia che si contorce su sé stessa, in cerca di un’identità politica e culturale, attraverso proclami, marce indietro, figuracce e glamour di sinistra senza sostanza che farebbero impallidire di sconcerto Turati e Gramsci, ma anche Berlinguer e Craxi, c’è qualcosa che si aggira per l’intera città di Napoli, sicura di sé stessa e non è solo la febbre da scudetto. Ma un’altra parola che fa rima con questa: fumetto.
La creatività da illustrazione è una roba seria ed esplode anche quest’anno con la rassegna Comicon alla Mostra d’Oltremare: c’è pure una cornice che le gira intorno Comic(on)off, con incontri e iniziative ramificate nel tessuto urbano.

Intanto è grande attesa per gli ospiti e gli eventi di domani domenica 30 aprile. Innanzitutto , in mattinata c’è l’anteprima mondiale della versione restaurata del film I tre dell’Operazione Drago (foto) per celebrare i 50 anni del film e i 100 di Warner Bros. Poi, sempre all’Auditorium della Mostra d’Oltremare siincontrano Zerocalcare e Giacomo Bevilacqua.
Le carriere di Zerocalcare e di Giacomo “Keison” Bevilacqua iniziano ed evolvono in m modo affine e continuano a essere vicine, ma a renderli diversi ci sono i tanti ingredienti della loro formazione. Un dialogo sull’educazione sentimentale di due protagonisti del fumetto italiano.
Ma sarà anche presentata la rivista “Scottecs Gigazine”, alle 15.30. In attesa del del numero zero tutto il team di Gigaciao – Sio, Dado, Fraffrog e Keison – sarà lieto di raccontare al pubblico i piani editoriali di Gigaciao e svelare, finalmente nel dettaglio, il grande progetto di magazine tenuto segreto fino a questo momento.
Da oltre vent’anni Comicon è una delle realtà di produzione di contenuti ed eventi pop più produttive in Europa che attira ogni anno in città oltre 150 mila visitatori per quattro giorni di fumetti, giochi e videogiochi, anime e manga, cinema e serie tv, collocandosi tra i cinque maggiori festival pop europei.
Quest’anno, per la prima volta si sdoppia. Dopo aver affascinato il pubblico a Napoli (28 aprile – 1 maggio), arriva anche a Bergamo con tre giorni di festival (23 – 25 giugno), nel programma ufficiale della Capitale Italiana della Cultura 2023.
Comicon inoltre organizza mostre internazionali, pubblica fumetti con l’etichetta COMICON Edizioni, rappresenta artisti di rilievo internazionale del calibro di Milo Manara e Tanino Liberatore, ed è co-fondatore del Network Europeo dei Festival di Fumetto e di RIFF – Rete Italiana Festival Fumetto.
