Planta, il giardino e non solo. Giunge alla decima edizione la mostra florovivaistica, promossa e organizzata dall’Orto Botanico di Napoli (foto) della Federico II. Domani, venerdì 3 fino a domenica 5 maggio.
Appuntamento abituale per gli amanti del verde, nasce con l’intento di promuovere la diffusione della cultura naturalistica e di valorizzare il patrimonio legato all’ambiente. A ingresso gratuito, offre un’ampia panoramica sulle tendenze nel mondo del florovivaismo e intende educare alla cultura dei beni comuni, tra cui il verde e le risorse idriche.
Programma ancora più intenso, quest’anno. In occasione dell’anniversario dalla fondazione dell’Ateneo sarà infatti realizzata un’installazione a tema: verrà riprodotto, attraverso piante e fiori, il logo degli Ottocento anni, che sarà visibile ai visitatori e con immagini dall’alto attraverso un drone.
Nei suoi primi dieci anni di vita, Planta intende sottolineare ulteriormente l’importanza della transizione ecologica e della cultura del verde nella vita di ogni giorno, e le aziende partecipanti si distinguono per l’impegno nel promuovere la sostenibilità ambientale e il rispetto per l’ambiente. Attraverso iniziative specifiche e progetti green, si richiama l’attenzione sulla necessità di preservare e valorizzare il patrimonio naturale.
Il decennale si festeggia anche concorso Balcone fiorito per celebrare il legame della manifestazione con il quartiere in cui l’Orto Botanico è inserito: approfittando della ricca offerta florovivaistica presente a Planta gli abitanti di via Foria sono invitati a decorare balconi e davanzale con composizioni di fiori e piante, trasformandoli in veri e propri “giardini”.
L’obiettivo è quello di rafforzare il legame tra la comunità cittadina e le iniziative dell’Orto Botanico di Napoli, che offre sempre più aperture straordinarie al pubblico, dando la possibilità di connettersi con la natura in un contesto didattico e ricreativo.
Tra gli eventi in programma nella tre giorni di mostra, ci sono workshop, conferenze e dimostrazioni pratiche tenute da esperti del settore, che daranno ai visitatori l’opportunità di acquisire conoscenze per la gestione e la manutenzione del Verde. Non mancheranno i concerti di Orto in Musica e le attività per Bimbi in Planta.

The Botanical Garden of Naples / “Planta” celebrates the first 10 years of its existence with the “Flowering Balcony” competition for the residents of Via Foria
Planta, the garden and beyond. This is the tenth edition of the horticultural exhibition promoted and organized by the Botanical Garden of Naples (photo) of the University Federico II. Tomorrow, Friday May 3 to Sunday May 5.
A regular appointment for lovers of greenery, it was created with the intention of promoting the spread of naturalistic culture and enhancing the heritage related to the environment. With free admission, it offers a broad overview of trends in the world of floriculture and aims to educate about the culture of common goods, including greenery and water resources.
This year’s program is even more intense. In fact, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Athenaeum, a themed installation will be created: the logo of eight centuries will be reproduced through plants and flowers that will be visible to visitors and with images from above by a drone.
In its first ten years, Planta aims to further highlight the importance of ecological transition and green culture in everyday life, and the participating companies stand out for their commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and respect for the environment. Through specific initiatives and green projects, attention will be drawn to the need to preserve and enhance the natural heritage.
The 10th anniversary will also be celebrated with the “Balcone fiorito” (Flowered Balcony) competition, to mark the link between the event and the neighborhood where the Botanical Garden is located: taking advantage of the rich floral offer at Planta, the residents of Via Foria are invited to decorate their balconies and windowsills with flower and plant arrangements, turning them into real “gardens”.
The aim is to strengthen the link between the urban community and the initiatives of the Botanical Garden of Naples, which offers more and more extraordinary openings to the public, giving them the opportunity to connect with nature in an educational and recreational context.
Among the events planned for these three days, there will be workshops, conferences and practical demonstrations given by experts in the field, which will give visitors the opportunity to acquire knowledge for the management and maintenance of the green. There will also be concerts by Orto in Musica and activities for Bimbi in Planta.
