Sabato 8 marzo, ingresso gratuito nei luoghi di cultura per tutte le donne su iniziativa del ministero (competente). Tante le iniziative dedicate al mondo femminile. A Napoli, alle 10, il servizio educativo di Castel Sant’Elmo organizza una visita guidata al ruolo delle donne nella cultura e nell’arte a Napoli, “Castel Sant’Elmo: storie di donne tra arte e rivoluzioni”. Appuntamento nel piazzale antistante la biglietteria dopo aver acquistato il biglietto d’ingresso (necessaria la prenotazione a questo indirizzo drm-cam.santelmo.edu@cultura.gov.it).
Filo conduttore sarà la storia del Castello: si partirà dal ruolo della fortezza cinquecentesca durante la Rivoluzione Napoletana del 1799, con un focus sulle protagoniste di quell’epoca, Luigia Sanfelice ed Eleonora Pimentel Fonseca, per arrivare al sito monumentale che oggi ospita il museo Novecento a Napoli.
Qui saranno raccontate le artiste che, attraverso il loro lavoro, hanno restituito visioni eterogenee della realtà del secolo scorso. Il percorso, ideato e curato dal Servizio educativo di Castel Sant’Elmo, metterà in luce le vicende di alcune protagoniste della storia cittadina e delle opere esposte, offrendo uno spaccato sul ruolo della donna attraverso i secoli.
Alla Certosa di San Martino, alle 10.30 “Donna se’ tanto grande e tanto vali”, una visita illustrata alla Chiesa della Certosa con un approfondimento sulle figure femminili rappresentate nel ricco apparato decorativo che orna gli ambienti del transetto, dalla Cappella del Tesoro, alla Sagrestia, al Coro, alla Sala del capitolo.
Attraverso l’iconografia femminile ispirata alle Sacre scritture, opera dei più importanti artisti del tardo Cinquecento e del Seicento, da Belisario Corenzio a Cavalier d’Arpino a Luca Giordano, sarà proposta una lettura del messaggio originario della cultura cristiana che restituisce piena dignità e libertà alla donna, veicolo di grazia e protagonista della storia della salvezza.
Il percors a cura di Loris Cozzolino sarà arricchito da interventi recitati a cura di Irene Esindi. La partecipazione, per un massimo di 25 visitatori fino ad esaurimento posti, è compresa nel biglietto ordinario di ingresso al museo secondo le tariffe e le agevolazioni ordinarie (intero 6€, ridotto dai 18 ai 25 anni 2€, gratuito fino a 18 anni).
Alle 12 al Museo Duca di Martina in Villa Floridiana si terrà la visita guidata “Cara e buona Lucia mia”, dedicata alla figura di Lucia Migliaccio. Donna pacata e gentile, Lucia amò e dolcemente fu amata da Ferdinando di Borbone, che la sposò in seconde nozze nel novembre del 1814 e le donò la Villa che porta il suo nome. La sua bellezza era proverbiale: Giovanni Meli le dedicò un’ode, tradotta in tedesco da Goethe, che conobbe Lucia a Palermo nel 1787. Il Palmieri, barone di Miccichè, disse dei suoi occhi: “..erano …umidi, come li definivano i Greci, neri come il carbone, in cui si leggeva volta a volta la grazia, il sentimento, la voluttà, e che, con uno sguardo, facevano vibrare le fibre del cuore e penetravano fino al midollo delle ossa”.
La visita guidata è gratuita, previo acquisto del biglietto di ingresso al museo (€ 4,00 con riduzioni e gratuità di legge – biglietto gratuito per le donne). Si avvertono i visitatori che il biglietto del museo è digitale e il pagamento può essere effettuato solo con bancomat o carta di credito. Anche il museo e real bosco di Capodimonte rende omaggio alle donne. In occasione dell’8 marzo. E in collaborazione con Amici di Capodimonte Ets, propone un doppio percorso che intreccia pittura storica e arte contemporanea: alle 10.30 collezione del Museo non solo offre l’opportunità di conoscere da vicino la produzione di alcune pittrici, come Artemisia Gentileschi ed Elisabetta Sirani, ma anche di scoprire alcune storie di donne straordinarie – eroine bibliche e sante, personaggi storici o mitologici – che offrono uno spunto di riflessione sul mondo femminile. Giuditta e Susanna, Lucrezia e Timoclea, Agata e Cecilia, ma anche Diana e Danae racconteranno le loro avvincenti storie in un percorso di visita interamente dedicato a loro.
Alle 11,30 , invece, il pubblico avrà l’opportunità di ammirare i disegni preparatori dell’opera monumentale Massi Erratici di Marisa Albanese, custoditi presso il Gabinetto Disegni e Stampe del Museo e solitamente non esposti al pubblico.
Attraverso i bozzetti, si ripercorre la genesi dell’opera, seguendo il flusso creativo che ha condotto l’artista a realizzare il grande totem composto da oltre 500 elementi lapidei.
Fin dal primo disegno, Marisa Albanese ha creato iconiche figure femminili, giovani donne con elmetti, potenti simboli di resistenza e lotta. La loro presenza amplifica il messaggio di unità e determinazione, richiamando l’attenzione sul ruolo cruciale delle donne durante i conflitti e nel processo di ricostruzione.
La visita proseguirà nel bosco per osservare da vicino Massi Erratici, definita dall’artista “un monumento alla cultura, alla storia, all’infinito viaggio della vita”. On Saturday the 8th of March, free admission to cultural sites for all women, on the initiative of the (competent) ministry. Many initiatives dedicated to the world of women. In Naples, at 10 am, the Education Service of Castel Sant’Elmo organises a guided tour on the role of women in culture and art in Naples: “Castel Sant’Elmo: stories of women between art and revolutions”. Meet in the square in front of the ticket office after purchasing the ticket (booking required at this address: drm-cam.santelmo.edu@cultura.gov.it).
The theme will be the history of the castle: from the role of the 16th century fortress during the Neapolitan Revolution of 1799, focusing on the protagonists of that period, Luigia Sanfelice and Eleonora Pimentel Fonseca, to the monumental building that today houses the Novecento Museum in Naples.
Here you will learn about the artists who, through their work, conveyed heterogeneous visions of the reality of the last century. The itinerary, conceived and curated by the Education Service of Castel Sant’Elmo, highlights the stories of some of the protagonists of the city’s history and the works on display, offering an insight into the role of women over the centuries.
At the Charterhouse of San Martino, at 10.30 a.m., “Donna se’ tanto grande e tanto vali”, an illustrated visit to the Charterhouse church with a closer look at the female figures represented in the rich decorative apparatus that decorates the rooms of the transept, from the Treasure Chapel to the Sacristy, the Choir and the Chapter Room.
Through female iconography inspired by Scripture and the work of the most important artists of the late 16th and 17th centuries, from Belisario Corenzio to Cavalier d’Arpino and Luca Giordano, an interpretation of the original message of Christian culture is proposed, restoring full dignity and freedom to women, vehicles of grace and protagonists of the history of salvation.
Loris Cozzolino’s presentation will be enriched by Irene Esindi’s recitations. The participation, for a maximum of 25 people, is included in the normal museum ticket, subject to availability, at the usual rates and discounts (full price € 6, reduced price €2 from 18 to 25, free for under 18s).
At 12 noon, at the Duca di Martina Museum in Villa Floridiana, there will be a guided tour ‘Cara e buona Lucia mia’, dedicated to the figure of Lucia Migliaccio. A quiet and gentle woman, Lucia was loved and adored by Ferdinand of Borbone, who married her in November 1814 in his second marriage and gave her the villa that is named after her. Her beauty was legendary: Giovanni Meli dedicated an ode to her, translated into German by Goethe, who met Lucia in Palermo in 1787. Palmieri, the Baron of Miccichè, said of her eyes: “…they were…moist, as the Greeks defined them, black as coal, in which grace, sentiment, voluptuousness could be read from time to time, and which, with a glance, made the fibres of the heart vibrate and penetrated to the marrow of the bones”.
The guided tour is free of charge with the purchase of a museum ticket (€4.00 with discounts and free admission – free ticket for women). The Capodimonte Museum and Royal Forest also pays tribute to women. On the occasion of 8 March. In collaboration with the Amici di Capodimonte Ets, it proposes a double itinerary that combines historical painting and contemporary art: at 10.30 a.m., the museum’s collection offers the opportunity not only to get to know the work of some female painters, such as Artemisia Gentileschi and Elisabetta Sirani, but also to discover some stories of extraordinary women – biblical heroines and saints, historical or mythological characters – that offer food for thought on the world of women. Judith and Susanna, Lucretia and Timoclea, Agatha and Cecilia, but also Diana and Danae will tell their fascinating stories in a tour dedicated to them.
At 11.30 a.m., the public will have the opportunity to admire the preparatory drawings for Marisa Albanese’s monumental work Massi Erratici, which are kept in the Museum’s Prints and Drawings Department and are not usually on display to the public.
Through these sketches it is possible to retrace the genesis of the work, following the creative flow that led the artist to create the great totem made up of over 500 stone elements.
From the very first drawing, Marisa Albanese created iconic female figures, young women wearing helmets, powerful symbols of resistance and struggle. Their presence reinforces the message of unity and determination and brings attention to the crucial role of women in conflict and reconstruction.
The visit continues into the forest to see the Massi Erratici, defined by the artist as ‘a monument to culture, history and the infinite journey of life’.
