Torna Do not disturb. Il teatro si fa in albergo. Venerdì 16 febbraio, alle 20.30, a grande richiesta, torna la rassegna all’Hotel Palazzo Caracciolo in via Carbonara.
Il format teatrale, che conduce gli spettatori all’interno delle camere della struttura alberghiera, avrà come protagonista Mariano Gallo e il suo doppio artistico, Priscilla, la più famosa drag queen italiana, interprete di ‘Nziria (foto), pièce scritta da Claudio Finelli e Mario Gelardi, quest’ultimo anche regista dello spettacolo.
La performance mette a confronto la vita privata e artistica di un uomo che conduce la propria esistenza dentro quella del suo appariscente doppio. A ‘nziria ha come protagonista Gallo, noto al pubblico con il nome di Priscilla, famosa drag queen, presentatore della versione italiana di Drag Race. Due incontri e un intermezzo: nel primo segmento, Favolosi, scritto da Gelardi, si racconta un’educazione sentimentale e artistica: Priscilla incontra uno dei suoi ballerini che ha il desiderio di diventare una drag. Un dialogo tenero e confidenziale tra i due protagonisti che, truccandosi, svelano i loro piccoli segreti, permettendoci di entrare nello spirito e nel mondo delle drag queen.
Lo spettacolo si sviluppa attraverso il dialogo ironico tra i due personaggi che si fa riflessione profonda su chi siamo e chi vogliamo rappresentare, diventando un’attestazione di libertà personale.
Nel secondo episodio, A ‘nziria di Claudio Finelli, dismessi i panni della drag, Mariano riceve la visita di suo fratello in albergo che porta con sé tutto il peso del passato, dei ricordi e dei rapporti familiari spezzati.
La famiglia è un vincolo indissolubile che, nonostante disapprovi la nuova vita del figlio maggiore tenuta segreta per anni, non può che proteggerlo da un eventuale pericolo. Due fratelli si ritrovano faccia a faccia in uno scambio continuo di posizioni in cui i ruoli stanno stretti a entrambi.

Do not disturb is back. Theatre at the Hotel Palazzo Caracciolo. On Friday, February 16th, at 20:30, by popular demand, the show returns to the Hotel Palazzo Caracciolo in Via Carbonara.
The theatrical format, which takes the audience inside the rooms of the hotel, will feature Mariano Gallo and his artistic double, Priscilla, Italy’s most famous drag queen, performer of ‘Nziria, a play written by Claudio Finelli and Mario Gelardi, the latter also director of the show.
The performance compares the private and artistic life of a man who lives his own existence inside that of his flamboyant double. Between memories and new encounters, Gallo will be joined on stage by Francesco Ferrante and Nello Provenzano. A ‘nziria features Gallo, known to the public as Priscilla, a famous drag queen and host of the Italian version of Drag Race. Two encounters and an interlude: in the first segment, Favolosi, written by Gelardi, a sentimental and artistic upbringing is told: Priscilla meets one of her dancers who wants to become a drag queen. It is a tender and intimate dialogue between the two protagonists who, in their making-up, reveal their little secrets and allow us to enter the spirit and the world of drag queens.
The play develops through the ironic dialogue between the two characters and becomes a deep reflection on who we are and who we want to represent, becoming a statement of personal freedom.
In the second episode, Claudio Finelli’s A’nziria, after Mariano has freed himself from the role of the drag, he receives a visit at the hotel from his brother, who brings with him all the weight of the past, the memories and the broken family relationships.
Family is an unbreakable bond that, despite disapproving of the eldest son’s new life kept secret for years, can only protect him from harm. Two brothers confront each other in a continuous exchange of positions in which both are forced to play their roles.
