Napoli a Parigi. Domani, domenica 21 maggio, Lino Musella, tra gli attori italiani più apprezzati del momento, porta in scena a Parigi il suo pluripremiato spettacolo dedicato a Eduardo De Flippo e alle donchisciottesche battaglie “tra poche vittorie e molti fallimenti” condotte dal grande drammaturgo in difesa della cultura e del teatro.
Grazie alla collaborazione con il Teatro della Toscana e il Théâtre de la Ville parigino sarà rappresentata la pièce “Tavola tavola, chiodo chiodo…” (foto), prodotta dalla Elledieffe e dal Teatro di Napoli – Teatro Nazionale ospitata dall’Espace Cardin per “Chantiers d’Europe 2023”.
Tra titoli di maggior successo delle ultime stagioni teatrali italiane, grazie a questo allestimento, in tournée da tre anni, Lino Musella ha ottenuto il riconoscimento di “miglior attore” nel 2022 al Premio Le Maschere del Teatro italiano.
Un “assolo con musica” – condiviso in scena con il musicista Marco Vidino – che nasce dagli studi di Musella dedicati alla figura del grande drammaturgo e dalle conseguenti riflessioni emerse circa la sua visione d’insieme sul mondo dello spettacolo e sulle sue sorti.
Spiega Musella: «Nel tempo sospeso della pandemia mi sono rifugiato nelle parole dei grandi: poeti, scrittori, filosofi, drammaturghi – e su tutti Eduardo De Filippo – per cercare conforto, ispirazione o addirittura per trovare, in quelle stesse parole scritte in passato, risposte al nostro presente; ho così riscoperto l’Eduardo capocomico, i suoi accorati appelli e le sue battaglie in difesa del teatro e degli attori e – mano mano – grazie anche al sostegno sia di Tommaso De Filippo, sempre più impegnato nella cura dell’eredità culturale della famiglia, che di Maria Procino storica collaboratrice del grande drammaturgo napoletano, ne è venuto fuori l’inedito ritratto d’artista che porto in scena da oltre tre anni».
E Parigi, lunedì 22 maggio (ore 17) l’Espace Cardin ospita anche un’importante tavola rotonda internazionale, promossa da Teatro della Toscana e Théâtre de la Ville di Parigi, dedicata alla promozione e alla realizzazione di nuove forme di cooperazione in ambito culturale e artistico tra Europa ed Africa.
L’incontro costituirà una nuova occasione per riunire artisti e direttori di istituzioni culturali con l’obiettivo di evidenziare le future iniziative comuni e creare in tal modo ulteriori opportunità di relazione e scambio artistico tra le nuove generazioni di attori europei ed africani.

Paris/ Lino Musella brings bring to the stage Eduardo (De Filippo) capocomico to Espace Cardin
Naples in Paris. Tomorrow, Sunday, May 21, Lino Musella, among the most appreciated Italian actors of the moment, will bring to the stage in the French capital his award-winning play dedicated to Eduardo De Flippo and the donquisciotesque battles “between a few victories and many failures” led by the great playwright in defense of culture and theater.
Thanks to a collaboration with the Teatro della Toscana and the Théâtre de la Ville of Paris, the play “Tavola tavola, chiodo chiodo…,” (photo) produced by Elledieffe and the Teatro di Napoli – Teatro Nazionale hosted by Espace Cardin for “Chantiers d’Europe 2023,” will be performed.
Among the most successful titles of recent Italian theater seasons, thanks to this production, which has been on tour for three years, Lino Musella was awarded “best actor” in 2022 at the Le Maschere del Teatro italiano Award.
A “solo with music“-shared onstage with musician Marco Vidino-that stems from Musella’s studies dedicated to the figure of the great playwright and the consequent reflections that have emerged about his overall view on the world of entertainment and its fate.
Musella explains, “In the suspended time of the pandemic, I took refuge in the words of the greats: poets, writers, philosophers, playwrights – and above all Eduardo De Filippo – to seek solace, inspiration or even to find, in those same words written in the past, answers to our present; so I rediscovered the Eduardo capocomico, his heartfelt appeals and his battles in defense of the theater and actors, and – hand in hand – thanks also to the support of both Tommaso De Filippo, who is increasingly committed to the care of the family’s cultural legacy, and Maria Procino, a historical collaborator of the great Neapolitan playwright, the unprecedented artist’s portrait that I have been bringing to the stage for more than three years has come out.”
And in Paris, on Monday, May 22 (5 p.m.) Espace Cardin will also host an important international round table discussion, sponsored by Teatro della Toscana and Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, dedicated to the promotion and implementation of new forms of cooperation in the cultural and artistic sphere between Europe and Africa.
The meeting will provide a new opportunity to bring together artists and directors of cultural institutions with the aim of highlighting future joint initiatives and thus creating further opportunities for artistic relationships and exchange between new generations of European and African actors.
