Pompei Street Festival anche quest’anno. Dal 27 giugno al 2 luglio, la manifestazione (foto) sostenuta dal sindaco del Comune di Pompei Carmine Lo Sapio, ideata dall’artista Nello Petrucci e realizzata da Art and Change.
La terza edizione della kermesse mette al centro del progetto la promozione culturale e quella turistica, che nella giornata inaugurale saranno promosse in un convegno con la ministra del turismo, Daniela Santanchè, il suo consigliere, l’economista Gianni Lepre e il direttore del Parco archeologico di Pompei, Gabriel Zuchtriegel.
Pompei Street Festival utilizza la forza espressiva della street art, con la realizzazione di opere ispirate a tematiche sociali e ambientali, per la realizzazione di una riqualificazione del territorio e leva di promozione turistica. Ma, allo stesso tempo, invia un forte messaggio ai giovani, cittadini e visitatori, per avvicinarli alla cultura e alle radici storiche del paese che nella città di Pompei trovano, e in particolare nel Parco Archeologico degli Scavi, valide testimonianze.
Resilienza e armonia saranno le tematiche che animeranno le creazioni degli street artist nella terza edizione di Pompei Street Festival. Interpretando con il loro personale stile questo filo conduttore, i 23 artisti che giungeranno a Pompei realizzeranno un vero e proprio museo a cielo aperto grazie ai live show per le vie della città. Diciotto le nazioni rappresentate dei 5 continenti.
Arricchiranno la manifestazione, musica, cinema, mostre, workshop con le scolaresche, completeranno il calendario del Pompei Street Festival 2023. Archeologia, ambiente e arte, sono i principali temi focus ai quali sarà dedicata la programmazione della sezione cinema con il concorso internazionale di corti e docufilm del Pompei Street Festival 2023, con la direzione artistica del filmmaker Egidio Carbone Lucifero. All’interno del Museo Temporaneo d’Impresa di Pompei, in piazza Bartolo Longo, la manifestazione presenterà momenti di incontro-spettacolo riservato alle scuole, proiezioni di film per il cinema, ospiti e testimonianze.
Tre importanti concerti, in piazzale Schettini. Protagonisti, Frankie Hi-NRG (30 giugno), la dance/elettronica dei Planet Funk (1° luglio) e Raiz, che omaggerà lo storico cantautore Sergio Bruni. Prima degli eventi, tutte le sere DJ Set nelle notti pompeiane.
Pompeii Street Festival/ Twenty-three artists from 5 continents are interpreting resilience and harmony
Pompeii Street Festival again this year. Running from June 27 to July 2, the event is supported by Pompeii City Mayor Carmine Lo Sapio, conceived by artist Nello Petrucci and implemented by Art and Change.
The third edition of the festival puts cultural and tourism promotion at the center of the project, which on the opening day will be promoted at a conference with the minister of tourism, Daniela Santanchè, her adviser, economist Gianni Lepre, and the director of the Pompeii Archaeological Park, Gabriel Zuchtriegel.
Pompeii Street Festival uses the expressive power of street art, with the creation of works inspired by social and environmental issues, for the realization of a redevelopment of the territory and lever of tourism promotion. But, at the same time, it sends a strong message to young people, citizens and visitors, to bring them closer to the culture and historical roots of the country that in the city of Pompeii find, and in particular in the Archaeological Park of the Ruins, valid testimonies.
Resilience and Harmony will be the themes that will animate the creations of street artists in the third edition of Pompeii Street Festival. Interpreting this common thread with their personal style, the 23 artists who will arrive in Pompeii will create a real open-air museum thanks to live shows in the streets of the city. Eighteen nations from five continents will be represented.
Enriching the event, music, cinema, exhibitions, workshops with schoolchildren: they will complete the calendar of Pompeii Street Festival 2023. Archaeology, environment and art, are the main focus themes to which the programming of the cinema section will be dedicated with the international short and docufilm competition of Pompeii Street Festival 2023, under the artistic direction of filmmaker Egidio Carbone Lucifero. Inside the Temporary Business Museum of Pompeii, in Piazza Bartolo Longo, the event will present moments of meeting-show reserved for schools, film screenings for cinema, guests and testimonies.
Three significant concerts, in Piazzale Schettini. Protagonists, Frankie Hi-NRG (June 30), the dance/electronica of Planet Funk (July 1) and Raiz, who will pay tribute to historic singer-songwriter Sergio Bruni. Before the events, every night DJ sets in the Pompeian nights.
