Natale ricco d’arte a Ponticelli, nella zona orientale di Napoli. Il Centro di cultura e animazione Arci Movie Giorgio Mancini (foto) accoglie il progetto Un (ac)curato albero di Natale tra Napoli e l’altrove organizzato dell’associazione “L’ora d’aria” in collaborazione con l’associazione Arci Movie. Domenica 10 dicembre inaugurazione dell’ installazione corale che rappresenta la molteplicità del concetto di accoglienza. Sono oltre cinquanta, tra singoli e realtà associative, ad aver preso parte alla realizzazione dell’opera eseguita dell’artista Francesco Felaco.
L’opera parte da una suggestione estetica di Gian Maria Cervo sul simbolo dell’albero che è espressione di nascita, di crescita, di fioritura e di complessa diramazione dei rami.
La mostra, che durerà fino al 28 dicembre, ospiterà anche altre performance. Sarà possibile ammirare “Una conversazione con un altro me stesso”, l’opera di video-arte omonima di Nicola Bremer e le maschere di Wiebke Heeren per un incontro fra Napoli e l’Asia.
Negli spazi del Centro Mancini, in via Purgatorio 10, anche “Venezia, un pezzo faustiano”, l’installazione di Gian Maria Cervo che gioca sul toponimo Ponticelli grazie ad un gioco fra fumo e materiali drammaturgi. Spazio anche ad “Artisti a Napoli Est”, un’installazione-archivio di artisti passati per il territorio, da Ken Loach a Mario Martone.

Ponticelli/ A Christmas tree between Naples and elsewhere. The branches of welcoming
Christmas full of art in Ponticelli, eastern Naples. The Arci Movie Giorgio Mancini Centre for culture and animation (photo) hosts the project An (ac)curated Christmas tree between Naples and elsewhere, organized by the association “L’ora d’aria” in collaboration with the Arci Movie association. Curator is Maria Giovanna Mancini.
On Sunday, December 10th, inauguration of the “choral installation representing the diversity of the concept of welcome. More than fifty individuals and associative realities took part in the creation of the work executed by the artist Francesco Felaco.
The work is based on an aesthetic suggestion by Gian Maria Cervo on the symbol of the tree, which is an expression of birth, growth, blossoming and the complex branching of branches.
The exhibition, which lasts until December 28th, will also host other events. It will be possible to admire “A Conversation with another myself”, the video work of the same name by Nicola Bremer, and masks by Wiebke Heeren for an encounter between Naples and Asia.
Also in the rooms of the Mancini Center, Via Purgatorio 10, is “Venice, a Faustian Piece”, an installation by Gian Maria Cervo that plays on the name of the town, Ponticelli, through a play of smoke and dramatized materials. Space also for “Artists in East Naples“, an installation-archive of artists who have passed through the area, from Ken Loach to Mario Martone.
