Cinema intorno al Vesuvio. L’arena estiva di Arci Movie ospiterà Giorgio Amitrano, tra i massimi esperti della cultura giapponese a Villa Bruno (via Cavalli di bronzo, San Giorgio a Cremano) venerdì 5 luglio 2024 alle 21:15 per presentare l’ultima opera di Wim Wenders. La kermesse, in collaborazione con il Comune di San Giorgio a Cremano, ci trasporta in Oriente attraverso la pellicola del grande regista tedesco.
Amitrano, docente di lingue e letterature del Giappone e della Corea all’Università di Napoli L’Orientale, è stato direttore dell’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Tokyo e dal 2021 è presidente dell’associazione di studi sul Giappone Aistugia.
Un protagonista perfetto per aprire la serata che vede sul grande schermo “Perfect days” (Giappone-Germania, 2023, 123′), storia di Hirayama (Koji Yakusho), addetto alle pulizie dei bagni pubblici di Tokio che, nel tempo libero, coltiva le passioni per la musica, i libri, le piante e la fotografia. La sua routine è scandita da diversi incontri inaspettati che rivelano qualcosa in più del suo passato.
Una riflessione commovente e poetica sulla ricerca della bellezza in un mondo, quello orientale, sempre più affascinante e ricco di sorprese.La rassegna di Arci Movie porterà il cinema nella villa del Miglio d’Oro fino ai primi di agosto.
Le serate inizieranno sempre alle 21:15 e il biglietto d’ingresso costa 5 euro. Biglietteria aperta dalle ore 20.

San Giorgio a Cremano/ Vesuvius Cinema, “Perfect days” by Wim Wender. A poetic reflection on beauty that takes us to Japan
Cinema around Vesuvius. Arci Movie’s Summer Arena will host Giorgio Amitrano, one of the leading experts on Japanese culture, at Villa Bruno (via Cavalli di bronzo, San Giorgio a Cremano) on Friday, July 5th, 2024 at 21:15 to present the latest work of Wim Wenders. The Kermesse, in collaboration with the town of San Giorgio a Cremano, will take us to the East through the films of the great German director.
Amitrano, professor of Japanese and Korean languages and literatures at the University of Naples L’Orientale, has been director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo and, since 2021, president of the Japanese Studies Association Aistugia.
A perfect protagonist for the opening of the evening, which will show on the big screen “Perfect Days” (Japan-Germany, 2023, 123′), the story of Hirayama (Koji Yakusho), a cleaner of public toilets in Tokyo, who in his free time cultivates his passions for music, books, plants and photography. His routine is interrupted by several unexpected encounters that reveal more about his past.
A poignant and poetic reflection on the search for beauty in a world, the Eastern world, that is increasingly fascinating and full of surprises.Arci Movie’s review will bring cinema to the villa on the Golden Mile until the beginning of August.
The evenings will always start at 21:15 and the entrance costs 5 euros. The box office opens at 20.00.
