Passeggiata urbana lungo le strade di San Giovanni a Teduccio con il collettivo Lunazione. Domenica 28 gennaio si parte alle 10.30 dal Parco Troisi, in viale 2 Giugno. L’appuntamento rientra nel progetto “Lievitazione” realizzato dall’associazione Art33 APS, vincitrice del bando “Fermenti”, un’iniziativa del Consiglio dei Ministri e gestita dal Dipartimento delle Politiche Giovanili e per il Servizio Civile Universale.
Una passeggiata urbana fatta di voci e suoni. In modo da trasformare le strade in un palcoscenico di storie e pensieri, narrati direttamente dalla voce autentica dei suoi abitanti. Così il quartiere di San Giovanni a Teduccio, a Napoli, si prepara a ospitare un’esperienza unica.
“San Giovanni Hosting” è un itinerario nell’area est della metropoli con cuffie wireless e il sottofondo della voce di chi che vive quotidianamente quest’area. E ne svela segreti e bellezza, aneddoti e curiosità.
Siamo alla fine di un lavoro collettivo che ha coinvolto la comunità attraverso interviste e ricerche sul campo, dando vita a un mosaico sonoro che offre al pubblico un’originale opportunità di connessione con il quartiere.
Spiega Martina Di Leva del Collettivo Lunazione: «San Giovanni Hosting è una nuova declinazione del nostro progetto performativo con cui ci immergiamo negli animi di differenti comunità: abitanti di ecosistemi unici, ci emozionano, ci commuovono e divertono grazie alla disponibilità che ci viene concessa di volta in volta. Se è vero che si torna sempre dove ci si si sente a casa, sviluppare Hosting a Napoli e nella sua periferia è per noi ancora più significativo: a San Giovanni a Teduccio ci siamo affezionati al mare invisibile del litorale, al parco Troisi e al riposo che ci ha regalato, al Bronx, in questi giorni nuovamente tanto discusso. Questo è ciò che condivideremo, attraverso le voci della gente di San Giovanni a Teduccio».
Aggiunge Mariarosaria Teatro, presidente dell’associazione Gioco Immagine e Parole e responsabile di questa azione di progetto: «Periferia è spesso sinonimo di marginalità perché sconta la distanza dal centro, il punto in cui si assumono le decisioni. Una distanza che, quanto più è ampia, più distoglie lo sguardo di chi governa. Il cultural hub Art33 – nato da una costola della nostra associazione – nasce proprio per accorciare queste distanze utilizzando il linguaggio universale delle arti per raccontarsi e raccontare, per ascoltare, conoscere e cambiare. San Giovanni Hosting si inserisce perfettamente in questa strategia e, con la delicatezza della performance artistica, proviamo a farci ascoltare senza urlare».

Urban walk through the streets of San Giovanni a Teduccio with the Lunazione collective. Sunday, January 28th will start at 10:30 a.m. from Troisi Park, in Viale 2 Giugno. The event is part of the “Lievitazione” project carried out by the Art33 APS association, winner of the “Fermenti” call for proposals, an initiative of the Council of Ministers and managed by the Department of Youth Policies and for Universal Civil Service.
An urban walk made of voices and sounds. So as to turn the streets into a stage for stories and thoughts, narrated directly by the authentic voice of its inhabitants. Thus the neighborhood of San Giovanni a Teduccio, in Naples, is preparing to host a unique experience.
“San Giovanni Hosting” is an itinerary in the eastern area of the city with wireless headphones and the background of the voice of those who live this area daily. And it reveals its secrets and beauty, anecdotes and curiosities.
This is the end of a collective work that involved the community through interviews and field research, resulting in a sound mosaic that offers the public an original opportunity to connect with the neighborhood.
Explains Martina Di Leva of the Lunazione Collective, “San Giovanni Hosting is a new declination of our performative project through which we immerse ourselves in the souls of different communities: inhabitants of unique ecosystems excite, move and entertain us thanks to their availability they give us from time to time. If it is true that we always return to where we feel at home, developing Hosting in Naples and its suburbs is even more meaningful for us: in San Giovanni a Teduccio we have been fond of the invisible sea of the coastline, Troisi Park and the rest that it has given us, the Bronx, these days again much discussed. This is what we will share, through the voices of the people of San Giovanni a Teduccio.”
Adds Mariarosaria Teatro, president of the Gioco Immagine e Parole association and head of this project action, “Periphery is often synonymous with marginality because it discounts the distance from the center, the point where decisions are made. A distance that, the wider it is, the more it distracts the gaze of those who govern. The Art33 cultural hub – born from a rib of our association – was created precisely to shorten these distances by using the universal language of the arts to tell, to tell, to listen, to know and to change. St. John Hosting fits perfectly into this strategy and, with the delicacy of performance art, we try to make ourselves heard without shouting.”
