Il Sud, locomotiva d’Europa. Se ne parla lunedì 11 dicembre nella Villa Campolieto di Ercolano, dalle 16.30 alle 19.30 nell’ambito del convegno Nuovo piano di evacuazione rischio Vesuvio organizzato dall’intergruppo parlamentare Sviluppo Sud aree fragili e isole minori.
L’Intergruppo è un momento di aggregazione al di là di ogni schieramento politico per svolgere attività di iniziativa parlamentare finalizzata alla produzione di atti normativi.
Conta circa 51 parlamentari aderenti a tutte le forze politiche e un tavolo tecnico composto da 8 commissioni: oltre 110 esponenti che rappresentano tutte le categorie professionali, imprenditoriali, accademici e terzo settore, con l’obiettivo di dar voce ai diversi mondi che animano l’Italia e tutelare le aree fragili del Paese.
Il convegno dell’11 dicembre sarà l’occasione per parlare di una legge delega che sarà presentata al governo con l’obiettivo di aggiornare il piano di evacuazione in caso di eruzione del Vesuvio, facendo sì che la popolazione non sia trasferita, secondo le attuali disposizioni, in altre Regioni del Nord Italia, ma venga direttanelle aree interne della Regione Campania, trasformando così un’emergenza in un’opportunità.
La proposta di Legge parte da un progetto di Enzo Coronato durato ben 15 anni di studi: in questo lungo periodo, sono stati censiti 180.000 alloggi disponibili nella provincia di Benevento, Avellino e Caserta, descrivendo anche le procedure di trasporto degli sfollati.
Dopo la presentazione alla Camera il 24 luglio scorso, alla Fiera del Levante e successivamente alla Reggia di Portici, l’intergruppo, che ha presentato 19 emendamenti in occasione della Legge di Bilancio e altre precedenti proposte di Legge, è ormai una realtà.
Spiega Alessandro Caramiello che ne è presidente: «Nasce ufficialmente un nuovo canale tra la società civile e il Parlamento un lungo il solco di un’unica area d’appartenenza geografica e al netto dei colori politici. Ci sarà molto da fare e non ci sottrarremo alle sfide che incontreremo».
Al convegno seguirà la degustazione di prodotti d’eccellenza del territorio campano, offerti dal Club Terraviva (foto), guidato dall’artista Luigi Libra che da anni racconta una regione diversa, attraverso la musica, le bellezze e le bontà del nostro territorio. È un sodalizio ormai compiuto quello tra l’on. Caramiello e Luigi Libra, mosso dall’obiettivo comune di rilanciare le eccellenze del Sud Italia come volano della nostra economia.

Villa Campolieto/ The South, the locomotive of Europe. Conference of the parliamentary intergroup for the development of the Mezzogiorno
The South, the locomotive of Europe. This will be discussed on Monday, December 11th, at Villa Campolieto in Herculaneum, from 16:30 to 19:30, in the framework of the Conference New Vesuvius Risk Evacuation Plan organized by the Parliamentary Intergroup Southern Development Fragile Areas and Minor Islands.
The Intergroup is a moment of aggregation beyond all political alignments to carry out parliamentary initiative activities aimed at the production of normative acts.
It has about 51 parliamentarians belonging to all political forces and a technical table composed of 8 committees: more than 110 members representing all professional, business, academic and third sector categories, with the aim of giving voice to the different worlds that animate Italy and protect the fragile areas of the country.
The conference on December 11th will be an opportunity to discuss a draft law that will be presented to the government in order to update the evacuation plan in the event of an eruption of Vesuvius, so that the population will not be transferred to other regions of northern Italy, as is currently the case, but will be directed to the inland areas of the Campania region, thus turning an emergency into an opportunity.
The proposed law is based on a project carried out by Enzo Coronato, who spent 15 years studying the 180,000 housing units available in the provinces of Benevento, Avellino and Caserta, as well as the procedures for transporting evacuees.
After its presentation in Parliament on July 24, at the Fiera del Levante and later at the Palace of Portici, the Intergroup, which presented 19 amendments during the budget law and other previous bills, is now a reality.
Alessandro Caramiello, who is its president, explains: “A new channel between civil society and Parliament is officially born along the furrow of a single geographical area of belonging and network of political colors. There will be much to do and we will not shy away from the challenges we will face”.
The conference will be followed by a tasting of excellent Campania products offered by the Terraviva Club (photo), led by the artist Luigi Libra, who for years has been telling the story of another region through music and the beauty and goodness of our territory. It is a partnership that has now come to fruition between Caramiello and Luigi Libra, moved by the common goal of revitalizing the excellence of Southern Italy as a driver of our economy.
