Wunderkammer approda nel braccio nuovo del Mann. E precisamente nel suo ampio Auditorium. La decima edizione della manifestazione che porta il teatro e il jazz nei luoghi più suggestivi della città arriva nella sezione recentemente realizzata del museo archeologico nazionale di Napoli.
Venerdì 14 aprile, alle 21, andrà in scena Mazel Tov, scritto da Diego Nuzzo e interpretato da Paolo Cresta, un’anteprima assoluta realizzata per la rassegna.
Un celebre scrittore defunto, un appartamento da svuotare, un funzionario della sua casa editrice, una promessa fatta anni prima, un’amicizia che sfida anche la morte, un quadro celeberrimo, un figlio e l’amore per sua madre, le radici ebraiche e il mondo di oggi. Sullo sfondo la città di New York, il suo autunno, la sua musica, la sua letteratura, le sue malinconie.
Lo spettacolo è realizzato con il contributo di Gnosis Progetti, società cooperativa di architettura e ingegneria che nel 2016 ha vinto il concorso per la ristrutturazione del Braccio Nuovo del MANN, con un auditorium, ristorante gourmet, un bar, una sala conferenza e spazi flessibili per allestimento di mostre e attività didattiche.
Paolo Cresta si è formato all’Accademia d’Arte Drammatica del Teatro Bellini di Napoli. Collabora in teatro con registi come Renato Carpentieri, Claudio Di Palma, Luca De Fusco, Arturo Cirillo e Roberto Andò. È attualmente docente di recitazione presso la Bellini Teatro Factory.
Diego Nuzzo, anima e motore di Wunderkammer, ha pubblicato tre romanzi, due biografie, diversi racconti ed è stato curatore. tra l’altro, dell’autobiografia di Nino Taranto.

Wunderkammer is landing in the new arm of the Mann. And precisely in its spacious Auditorium. The tenth edition of the festival that brings theater and jazz to the city’s most evocative venues arrives in the recently built section of Naples’ national archaeological museum.
On Friday, April 14, at 9 p.m., it will present Mazel Tov, written by Diego Nuzzo and performed by Paolo Cresta, an absolute premiere made for the festival.
A famous deceased writer, an apartment to empty, an official from his publishing house, a promise made years earlier, a friendship that defies even death, a celebrated painting, a son and his love for his mother, Jewish roots and today’s world. In the background the city of New York, its autumn, its music, its literature, its melancholies.
The show is produced with the contribution of Gnosis Progetti, an architecture and engineering cooperative society that in 2016 won the competition for the renovation of the New Wing of the MANN, with an auditorium, gourmet restaurant, bar, conference room and flexible spaces for setting up exhibitions and educational activities.
Paolo Cresta trained at the Accademia d’Arte Drammatica del Teatro Bellini in Naples. He collaborates in theater with directors such as Renato Carpentieri, Claudio Di Palma, Luca De Fusco, Arturo Cirillo and Roberto Andò. He currently teaches acting at Bellini Teatro Factory.
Diego Nuzzo, soul and driving force behind Wunderkammer, has published three novels, two biographies, several short stories and was editor. among other things, of Nino Taranto’s autobiography.
